Introducing the HawkEye FishPod 5x; HawkEye’s smart IOS and Android app-based fish finder that is designed to evolve as you evolve. We’ve packed the FishPod 5x full of advanced HawkEye sonar, giving you a true fishing experience on any fishing platform with endless possibilities.
Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or advanced fisherman, the FishPod 5X only takes one-touch to setup to match your skill level. We designed the app around our Intuitive Easy-Touch Programming platform that has been honed with years of both lab and on-water usability testing. We meshed that testing with feedback collected from tens-of-thousands of real-life fishermen who’ve used HawkEye® fish finders the past 2 decades, and we pre-programmed 4 modes into the software that “dials-in” sonar readings to your skill level.
The VirtuView mode is for beginner anglers looking for easy to understand bottom contour and fish readings. It detects fish as a series of icons and fills the bottom solid to clearly show structure and contour.
The Fish-Scape mode is for intermediate anglers looking for advanced features to pinpoint optimal fish habitats. It uses HawkEye’s FishTarget technology to show the location and depth of fish echoes, while delivering real time sonar echoes to uncover debris, weed, trees, drop offs and a variety of other valuable sonar data.
The Fish-Scape HD mode is for experienced anglers who demand a high-definition fishing experience. This mode identifies the depth, presence of fish with Fish-Arch enhancement, bottom contour and composition, all on your devices HD color display. What you’ll experience is a full screen of raw sonar. Unlike any other castable device, Fish-Scape HD sets you free by giving you an overabundance of sonar data, allowing you to use your fishing experience to perfectly target prey.
The Data Mode enlarges depth & temperature readings so they are easy to read from several feet away, while allowing the fish finder to run in the background so that you can keep an eye out for optimal fish habitats.
All this technology is packed into a battery powered bobber that straps to a fishing rod, or stows inside a tackle box or carry bag and is ready when you are. Utilizing our exclusive accessories, the FishPod is also adaptable to any fishing platform; from dock, bridge, shoreline… to boat, kayak, canoe, paddleboard… and even onto the ice. The FishPod 5x will also shoot through solid fiberglass or aluminum boat hulls. If you’re a night owl, the FishPod 5X internally illuminates so that you can see it at night and use it as a lighted fishing bobber.
