    To get those beautiful bends you’re looking for. Cap your pipe, fill your pipe with sand , put some elbow grease into it. Keeps your pipe from collapsing and binding . Enjoy. Thanks for the video!

    Fill your copper tube with salt and kink the ends so the salt don't come out then you can bend it around something round and it won't collapse then you just cut the King soft and clean the salt out

    @samuelruff3775 Před rokem +1

    Ye only need to use flux on copper to brass welds the copper fittings are capillary fittings so they should draw the solder in themselves

    @smartypants5036 Před 3 lety +1

    If that is plastic pipe collapsing due to tight bends put a stainless steel spring inside first. If it is a copper pipe fill it water and freeze it or fill it with salt and crimp the ends over. Anneal the copper before bending it, ie. heat it and water plunge it.

    Hey man! Youve got yourself a new subscriber. With regards to your question about bending the tubes without getting kinks, as far as I can remember the guys that make trumpets and those kinds of instruments by hand actually fill the pipe with water and then freeze it inside. Then it can apparently bend a lot more before collapsing. Pretty sure sand or anything similar will also do the trick. Basically just comes down to having support from inside the tube.
    Side note, I just went on plumblink and found the tubing, but do they only sell in 5.5m sections??

  • @joepennRR1
    @joepennRR1 Před 3 lety +2

    Okay but I know you're not a plumbing solder help you out so you scuff with plumbing sandpaper. Then you flux it. You got to turn the heat on the torch way down in it way too hot you're burning the fuck out of the flux. It's okay everybody does it the first time they solder. Most important is whatever the size of the piper using the inside diameter that's how much solder you use on that opening of the fitting. So if you're using half inch copper use half an inch of solder. So let's say you have a 2 in 90 which it appears that you do you would use to inches of solder on each opening of that 90. If you use too much sorry it'll go to the inside of the fitting and will actually decrease the inside diameter and restrict flow. Everything Sauders drawing the Heat so follow your torch with the solder
