Great stuff man. I'm getting back into the editing chair after a decade away to edit a documentary I shot in Ukraine. So much has changed in that time and it's been a bit daunting getting familiar with new software and all the advanced capabilities that have been added. Your tutorials are quite accessible and targeted. Thank you for the time and effort you have put into these.

Ableton is the best! It is my go to music production DAW. I'm glad this helped! Thanks for the comment SlowDim! 👊✌️
Very clear tutorial, and the thing is that your voice is very easy to hear, I checked many other videos out there, but really feel hard to continue hearing, they talk very fast, and shouting all the way :-D, thanks really awesome and clear!

Yo Marcel you are awesome dude!! I loved your narrative on the attack and release of a compression! I've been trying to understand that for awhile now, and your simple hand movements made me finally have that "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH, i get it!" moment lol Subbed! Liked! Exited to watch all your videos as i grow with Davinci!
Happy to help! Thanks for the sub 🙌 welcome to the party my friend 👊✌️
This is an absolutely amazing tutorial and I'll be binging these asap with my partner to learn how to better work with our equipment! :D
We use a Focusrite 2i2 and 2 SM48s but have just been winging it most of the time with bits and pieces but your videos appear to be amazingly concise at explaining. - Izzy
Happy this helped!! You can go a long way with just the 2i2, the 2 Mics and a little Fairlight knowledge. I have been using a Focusrite for quite a while and love it. Thank you for taking the time to comment! I appreciate the kind words 👊✌️
Thank you very much for the Sidechain trick!
You are very welcome! Thanks for the comment 👊✌️
Thank you very much, I am actually editing for a song but this works for that too, I usually don´t change just dialoge but now I know I need to some extent fix that for some dubs etc especially with diffrent people with diffrent mics. It wil ltake awhile but so far I think this is fun, we will see how long that last XD
Davinci is so far the easiest video tool I have used I was planning on using audacity but I think the panels and visuals you get with davinci just makes it easier for me.
Nice tutorial.
Thank you Martinho!!! 👊✌
