    Nice recovery, and so important to teach new Hawo growers root management. I have one nitpick I hope you won't mind me sharing, not that anything here is wrong, just an additional viewpoint.
    At this stage there are still a few almost dead leaves.I call the "leathered" when they have lost a lot of water and maybe had too much sun in a dessicated state. Those leaves will never bounce back.
    I'd probably take those off as well while I have it out of the pot, since the plant now has a root system, and triage water salvage isn't needed. (With no roots, I'd keep them on, as the plant can pull water to grow the new roots from these half dead leaves). The principle I go by is that the number of leaves on the plant is limited by root capacity. A plant will stall its leaf growth till the roots catch up. These leaves aren't aesthetically pleasing, and probably not delivering much photosynthesis due to their position...but they are still pulling resources. It will be tricky to pull them off when its potted back up without potentially removing new roots. And you won't want to take it out of the pot for a while now.
    So, in short, take off more unproductive leaves at this point to trigger new leaf growth.

      That's a very good point and in hindsight I probably should have. I will certainly put that into practice on future Haworthia repottings. Thank you for watching and commenting 👍🏻🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜

    That was an awesome recovery, Sweetheart! 😱 It looks so different from when you first got it. I was really worried that that plant wouldn’t make it. It really helped when you cut off part of the stump. Sometimes the plant cannot grow roots when the stump is too tough. Well done! 🤗😘❤️

    Very nice H. mirabilis var. badia!!! I have a H. mirabilis var. beukmannii from Nethercourt that is very similiar in color and shape to this plant except it's retused in its growing pattern instead of splayed like badias. I love H. mirabilis they are so cute!!!

    • @Cactimania
      @Cactimania  Před 4 měsíci +2

      Thank you 😊 Just enough water to keep the top part of soil mix the plant was resting on moist to encourage root growth. Once I knew the plant had enough of a root system to take up water I was then watering it normally once a week. Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌼🌺🌸🏜
