- Actress Isla Fisher tells TODAY that working on the upcoming thriller “Nocturnal Animals” was “emotionally draining,” but there were lighter moments when she would get mistaken for co-star Amy Adams. The actress also says that Vince Vaughn told her that there is talk of making a sequel to their hit 2005 comedy “Wedding Crashers.”

i just realized there was Isla Fisher, i used to think Amy got both characters.

I grew up watching Isla Fisher on Home and Away back in the 90s. I think she's instantly recognisable. I don't think I could ever mistake her for Amy Adams.

Her parents are Scottish, that's why she has a traditional Scottish name and the red hair, but she was born in Muscat in Oman because her dad was stationed there with the U.N. They moved back to Scotland for a while then immigrated to Australia. She later moved back to the UK (and married Sacha Baron Cohen).
