Guild Raid For Beginners: Which Characters To Take?

- New players to the game obviously have a far smaller roster than the average Tacticus veteran. In today's video I take a look at which early characters you should focus on to get the most out of your Guild Raid experience.

Thanks Buzz. This is really helpful to encourage newer players that they don’t need to stress too much about the vast characters they could aim for in a few months.
Should probably mention Eldryon as one you can unlock from the guild shop and who works well in most guild raids going forward.
Solid starting advice lord buzz. Unlock Eldryon as soon as you can in the guild raid shop to make those summoners even better.
True, he's the real game-changer
As a level 29 it would be nice to see tier lists that bridge beginners (ie: level these campaign characters) and the dirty dozen-ish. I suppose it would have include all of the non-legendary grindables (ie Thaddeus and Abraxis)
- Vindicta: has been pretty boss for a few side bosses; eg she does a lot of heavy work w/ Corrudius. And does some heavy lifting in the pve campaign so she has her niche
- Imhospekh: he's really nice in onslaught so you should level him ... and pairs well Eldryon.
- Re'vas: As an uncommon it will probably be an early-ish pull. Boost their passive and they should combo nicely with Eldryon. Esp against mechanical bosses like Ghaz
- Ulf: Another 'easy' pull and his passive triggers quite a bit
Given that beginners have poor character selection, leveling will focused on mission characters, and ability badges will be starved your character power will be all over the map... my suggestion is just spreadsheet your results (keep the best result per lineup) and you might find damage spikes with small tweaks.

Good to point out that primes are important part of GRs too. Newer players can be very helpfull saving tokens from harder hitters eventhough the damage seems low.
Yeah it's really easy to overlook them but taking out the primes can make a huge difference from lower-level players and give good experience of which characters perform well.
But where is my boy eldy? Can t imagine a raid witout him. But true at 120 shards in guild shop, he takes a little to come by.

Lord Buzz down plays his advice. Push Necrons, especially Aleph and Mak and Tigur and Bellator for Ultramarines are definitely your go to winners.

Maugan Ra is a must-take for every boss except maybe the tank. Really useful.
The opposite faction combos are funny:
Archi+Yarrick/Vindicta
Vindicta+Ahriman
Asmodi+Toth
Oh well, the Inquisition isn't real... Right????
I used to run an archimatos, aleph, yarrick super summoner team to whale on the nid bosses... definite heresy

Buzz, the player’s player. Never the best advice for super low and definitely not the best for META high level players. But for anyone from about level 14-40 he’s amazing. (I’m 39 and don’t see him offering useless advice for even another 5 levels.
And he’s far from poor advice low level and high advice but definitely look to Nandi for HIGH, HIGH level.

About vindicta, she can do a coqutail bomb with archi: arch summons bloodletters, tehy do damage, vincidcta comes with her active, it triggers the crit trait, then another attack. That does easlly 10 k do any boss
