Just recently came back to wizard101 as a player who played before pets, dropping in to say thank you for your dedication to the game, it’s made my transition back to playing much easier. Keep up the great videos!
Personally I think if you’re going to put Wintertusk at S tier, then Celestia needs to go up to S tier as well. Wintertusk and Celestia are both about the same level of difficulty and the more difficult one depends on which one you do first. Both worlds are a huge step up from Dragonspyre and are when storm mobs really start hitting like a truck (neither have waterworks gear yet so your defense is probably going to be poor) and myth mobs start earthquaking.
Not necessarily. While I would agree that celestia is infinitely easier if you do wintertusk first, even if you finish celestia before wintertusk you'll probably still struggle.
I'm up to lvl 30 on my Fire and haven't been killed once, but now I'm at Counterweight East (which should be fine)...but Big Ben I'm probably going to have to team up if I wanna maintain my flawless (no deaths) record going.... *This playthrough really shows myself how much experience I have with this game these days, in the past I would've at least died once or twice by this point.
I think something not considered that makes Azteca a lot harder is the amount of double bosses. I recently did my storm solo and before this, I would often rely on "super small consistent deck that rushed down the enemy before they could kill me". When there started being two strong bosses, I didn't have enough turns to set up without them killing me/status that made quick 1-shotting non-viable. It was the first time healing currents, shielding, and generally filled up decks felt optimal instead of blade stack + feint + lord/sirens.
Grizzleheim/Wintertusk hands down the hardest locations in the game. The majority of Grizzleheim is fairly easy until you hit Nidavellir. Before the PVE nerf, it was literally impossible to do this solo - Jotun, the final boss, had more health than Malistare. Don't even get me started on Wintertusk. You unlock the area at level 50 but don't even bother trying to complete it unless you have the level 56 crafting gear or level 60 waterworks gear.
Wysteria is F tier on difficulty but S tier on annoyance the green men kill quest where you get leafs ive literally had some characters where i have to kill them for an hour before it finally drops the leaf
This would be an even more interesting list if all the worlds were ranked by difficulty but pre PVE nerf. there would be a lot of worlds in s and a rank
@@comsicartisan7700 There was pretty much a blanket 20% health reduction on every enemy in the entire game. One of the stupidest decisions they've ever made imo.
Great tier list overall , liking your videos a lot so far. For me however hardest worlds if I am solo are easily Dragonspyre and Celestia. Just way too much HP even after the nerf , you have to setup for like 5-6 turns each boss which slows down the process and it becomes obnoxious and that's mainly because of the terrible gear options.
im lvl 130 life i l ove the game played for a good 5 years straight then on and off again through three different main accounts i really love the game and the content in the game im glad that theyre promoting it through content creators
Wiz was my first mmo and in 2009 when I started playing I remember my biggest enemy was the quest markers themselves. I talked to every single person with an exclamation or question mark and was struggling so hard to progress through worlds and had no clue why. I got stuck in dragonspyre for like 3 months the first time I got to it because I literally couldn't find the location I needed. To be fair when I started playing they didn't have quality of life stuff yet, I don't even think they had the quest helper for the first bit I played.
Everyone always says to do Wintertusk in preparation for Celestia... but it seems like it should be the opposite. I'd rather struggle a bit in Celestia and then a bit in Wintertusk rather than barely scrape by in Wintertusk and breeze through Celestia.
Wintertusk is so damn difficult. You unlock it at like level 40 and then you suddenly fight mobs that have 1.3k health. I remember with my balance it literally felt impossible to solo. Also you are basing these on the presumption that everyone will have dragoon gear when in fact like 90%+ of the people don't use dragoon gear since it's such a pain to grind.
I think MB is highly underrated. Outside of mount Olympus Big Ben is by far the hardest dungeon in the first ARC. Also krock is way to high. I can get through wizard city and krock in 5 or 6 hours. Maybe less these days. Outside of that I really like the list.

I honestly would never do that battle again lol, it’s doable but my lord it’s honestly the hardest boss battle I’ve ever seen in the game since mailstare had 100k. I was intimated asf with 8 Bosses 😭😭
@@KaiserNoah The enemies don’t do anything though, they all just spam 4 pip aoe spells and set shields. I just wish the AI actually knew what it was doing so I’d have to think instead of just blade and hit over and over again.
Blade of Felled Titan is an Athame dropped by the secret boss Cronus in Tartarus. Just immediately go left into the secret room, but i would recommend bringing other people because it can be a bit difficult.

Wintertusk is a lot more difficult since in Celestia you get those star spells and there's more people in celestia generally

ngl in my opinion starting aquila at lvl 30 is a pain without team up

If you do celestia first there isnt a huge point in doing wintertusk afterwards. Im pretty sure you still end up around level 60 otherwise.

No. This is based on my experiences and most of my characters questing through arc 4 have had malistaire gear.
I didnt find Avalon that hard, i was able to solo it farely easily on my first play

Celestia was easy for me, a life main, granted I also did all the side quests, so I was a bit over leveled.

Hmm, I find mirage super easy I’ve only done it with a life and a fire but I felt like I was smooth sailing. Personally I would’ve put it at like c.
