- It's 2020. No matter what stage you are in life. Let's strive for the best you yet this new year, this new decade. Start training in some martial art, like my personal favorite Jiu-Jistu and stay in the gym past January. If you're an officer, strive to continuously put your safety first. Or if you're not a police officer yet and that's your goal. Take steps towards that. Prepare yourself for the academy, physically and mentally. Most importantly, strive to be better people. Stay safe, everyone and have a happy new year.

Personally, as a retired 34 year veteran police officer, I would not recommend any young person to apply for a police career with the current situation.

JEKYLL2020 can you tell me the physical requirements for being a police officer
Go Oregon Ducks different for every agency. If you’re asking what to work on, cardio. Run. A lot. Most tests consist of a 1/4 mile run to a 1.5 mile run, push ups, sit-ups, and an obstacle course. Just run and you’ll be fine.
I still love it even after 4 LODI injuries, being spit on, bitten, cursed at. Love my brothers and sisters in LE. It's in the blood, heart and soul. Stay safe and remember that good will always defeat evil.

Recently discharged/disabled veteran USAF Defender here starting the police academy next week to get P.O.S.T certified as a volunteered/non-paid CO Ranger because my oath of enlistment has never had an expiration date.

My dad recently went into training for CBP, I heard that training was tough, but I guess seeing it on camera is a lot more eye-opening. He kicks ass, and I’m proud as hell of my dad.
Except for the birth of my children and the crossed cannons I wore on my sleeve in the Navy.....the proudest moment of my life was my dad pinning that badge on my chest. I hunt the evil most pretend does not exist! I love being a cop!

Been planning to join the police force since freshman year of HS, I’m going into my third semester of Criminal Justice in August. My mom isn’t happy with my choice, saying she doesn’t think I could handle the pain and training. But the more I watch videos like this, the more I want to improve and better myself until I know that I can do it.

My dad was a cop, and a firefighter. My sister is in the police hiring process and when I’m done with high school I’m going to become a police officer.
I wish I could do more to help the police, especially in the US, I feel so sorry for them. 😒

The police officers in America have been treated like crap, especially recently. They don't deserve it. There are some bad police officers. Just like in any job. They are human. May we politely suggest the following de-escalation for remedy?
THE TRUST IS COLLAPSED....in other words, your company is no longer granting them any more credit.
If a policeman is not lawfully investigating the crime on behalf of the male/female victim and is entering YOUR company jurisdiction without you summonsing them, then would it not be advisable to be politely placing YOUR public-servants/trustees under your notification that your company is charging $707 per hour/part-there-of for YOUR company time and also $717 for YOUR company performance?....and that any further communicating (verbal) and/ or corresponding (written) with your company, is with them accepting the terms & conditions of the commercial contract IN THE PRIVATE (the cop and their CHIEF and their POLICE UNION is now with PERSONAL liability.... because Notice-to-Agent-is-Notice-to-Principal....and also through JOINDER)
This way, you are NOT resisting/refusing to obey/comply with their orders/demands/policy /questions, but instead, you are now willing to perform WITH THE CONDITION that payment is with your company immediately, because you have NO CONFIDENCE with them administrating YOUR company trust.
THE PUBLIC TRUST IS COLLAPSED...YOUR company is no longer issuing them any extra credit! Are YOU not the executor and the beneficiary of YOUR trust?...making them the trustees, whom are with their fiduciary obligation and duty-of-care to be NOT causing you injury nor damage nor loss nor harm.
Please remember that THEIR job is NOT YOUR job and that their company policy is NOT
your company policy unless and until they are PAYING for your company time & performance
THE CONSTRUCTIVE TRUST IS COLLAPSED...YOUR company is no longer performing free-of-charge!
You may be willing to pursue the matter through the small-claims-court and/or through arbitration which is held in-the-private because PUBLIC court is only for the PUBLIC servant.
YOUR TRUST FUND IS NOW WITH RESTORATION....YOUR company is now making money from every encounter with YOUR public-servants because the days of doing something with your trustees for free are over.

One of the most honorable, and probably the most disrespected, job in America. I have as much honor and respect for our police officers as I do our military. They all put their lives on the line to defend America and don't get the respect they deserve.

The date is January 6th, 2021. Pro Trump Rioters (Aka those who stood up against the establishment) Have stormed the Capitol during the electoral college vote counts. One person died in the event and the politicians continue as if nothing ever happened. So this song is more relevant than ever, because today it was shown that it is possible to break into the Capitol even with the elites inside.
