Not as a way to condemn those who are still in the LGBTQ lifestyle, but as a way to show that it is possible for God to deliver you. There's such a stigma around stories like these as though it's "impossible" to come out of the life, but it's not. I’m a little short of half way through this video and already I know that the Lord wanted me to watch this testimony. I struggle with lust and with my feelings of same sex attraction. I’ve lived an openly gay lifestyle for the past 3 years of my life, gave my life to Jesus about 7 months ago, and still this is one of the hardest most confusing sins that I’m beginning to understand. It’s deep and it’s not only a struggle for unbelievers but a struggle for believers and he touched on this point really well. It’s in part one of the reasons why I don’t speak up and share my testimonies because I feel this spirit of rejection/ whisper of the devil telling me everyone is going to change on you and not see your sin as sin but see you as the sin. Please pray for me. I know that my testimony will help many people but I don’t always have the strength and the faith to share it because of fear. I trust God to help me and I know that the power of the gospel is the only reason I haven’t turned back to the world. I’m 22 and I never thought this could ever be my life and yet here I am. Choosing God instead of being gay has given me an indescribable amount of peace and joy because I know that I have salvation and the Lord has given me knowledge of where I’m going when I die. I was delivered from “gay community” over 40 years ago. I am 61. The church needs lots of schooling on how to treat this issue and people coming into church from this community. I haven’t get back to church for a long time and it basically destroyed me some of the things that happened and some of the ways that I’ve been treated in church isthat knew my testimony but I’ve been free for 40 years and I love Jesus with all my heart. Your family sounds awesome. I need that.

God will meet you where you are and lead you by the hand. Focus on Christ’s life, His sacrifice, His love. Let Christ define who you are and not the world. Christ has graven you on the palms of His hands, He has purchased you. These are truths you start with. And end with. In the process He will make you into what He wants you to be, but be patient. Be kind to yourself. Stay close to Him through prayer. Stay close to Him by regularly reading His “pre-recorded” voice (aka, the scriptures) and internalizing His doctrine love and mercy into your heart. I love how Luiz says it, to let your desires become His desires. I promise you it’s worth it! As long as you are pointed in the right direction, always facing Him, trying the best you can, you will not go to Hell. God is not like that. He’s not a middle-ages vindictive God, but one of perfect Love. He will not force you to come unto Him or be in a place you cannot abide, but He will take you from where you are and bring you another step closer to Him. The God I know is not eager to damn His children, but to save. His work and glory is to bring you into a fullness of joy. He is working in you right now, this very moment.
I don’t struggle specifically with homosexuality but I definitely struggle with sin! I resonated with his testimony in regards to trying to walk with God so many times and failing 🥺
I went to a gay club first the first time months before with someone who unfortunately passed away in the Pulse shooting. It was me, my best friend at the time, my friend who passed away and his brother. We were celebrating his birthday, I was in the middle of getting to know the Lord at during this time but I still decided to go to the club (not pulse but another gay club) because I always desired going clubbing, that life looked fun. When I went it just made me feel slightly anxious and I lowkey felt like I wasn’t pleasing the Lord doing this but I was so early on in my faith. Few weeks later I got mad at both friends because I felt she was distancing from me and getting closer to our friend that passed away. I was very hurt and felt excluded from that friendship. Then the day of the shooting came, I had remember seeing my friend post on Snapchat that he was at a club. The next morning I wake up to see the news of what had taken place and run to check his Snapchat again and he had stopped posting earlier that night, I wondered if he was at that club. I text my best friend and say Hey were you at the club? Do you know if Omar went? And I can’t remember if she replied or if I seen on the TV that he had passed away, but sadly it was confirmed. She wasn’t there with him because a family member had passed away and she went to go visit family up north, her life was spared!!! Because her and our friend who passed at Pulse were almost inseparable. I was so shook that he had not made it out of the club. I was so shook that she wasn’t there with him, I was so grateful she was safe and at the same time heartbroken to hear he was not. Years later, I often think of how Lord spared her life and wonder about her (we no longer have contact) and how if I hadn’t gotten into that fight with her at that time… I really feel like I would have been there with him and her and who knows if me and her would have also died. I just think wow Lord, I don’t know your plan for my life but you do and I just want to be close to you forever🙌🥺 thank you for your testimony!

As someone who also struggled with same sex attraction and also loving God, us Christians are called to love everyone. You don't have to accept the life style, but be a testimony to them through your love and lifestyle. God delivered me from those attractions and thoughts! Praise Jesus! We need to love everyone! I pray you remind this person that they are loved, beautiful, strong, unique, and very gifted. I pray you show them the truth so they can repair the things they lack in. Lord it isn't their fault. Life has been unfair to them but your love is all they need. Loving themselves is all they need. I pray you remove any bad energy or bad entities that may have latched on from other people. Great understanding imparted in your testimony..I pray many will hear this..I have a friend who left his female wife and two children for a relationship with a homosexual man.. His family made it clear as Baptist Christians that they were not approving but did continue to invite him to church and prayed for him for years..He has accepted Jesus who died for all our sins and was delivered from his same sex desire and has remarried his wife and reunited with his children!!!
I live in Orlando and I ride by this place often. It’s just a memorial now. When it happened it was a total shock I was just in shocked mode for that whole week and just lost in silence. It felt like it was unreal. And a girl I worked with said she was supposed to go that night to the pulse Night club and I was in total shock Oh how God protected her and she couldn’t even realize.
I don’t know Luis but I love him. I thought I had a good testimony about my criminal and drug addiction background but it doesn’t compare to his. I know it’s not a competition and we all have our own stories but his is such a powerful one and he’s really good at talking and sharing it. I pray God continues to bless him because it certainly looks like God has been very active in his life for a long time
I agree that this testimony was/is POWERFUL but yours is just as powerful because 1. You acknowledge and recognize that it was/is God moving in your life. 2. I've always wondered what ever happened to Luis, especially when I first heard of him those years ago. The fact that God told not one but 3 people of what was happening in vision and 2 people that something was to happen proves God protects and warns not only us but others around us. I, too struggle with SSA and I even deal with the thoughts. I thank Him for my community from church, strong men who really want what's best for me. I'm also happy to hear your testimony, Luis, because it is and will be an encouragement to many out there.
I need to repent from my attitude. I vividly remember seeing on the news that tragic incident. I also remember seeing the signs of 'judgment' being held up by people who called themselves Christians. What I can't recall, is me having any feelings of compassion towards those affected. And for that, I am sorry Lord. I am ashamed of what type of Christian I was. I cried too. I used to pray the same things. It wasn’t until I fully surrendered it in my heart I felt gods power touch my spirit my entire body and lost all same sex attraction. It was the first time I let go of the fear of never finding happiness in human love and surrendered it and offered my life to god as a living sacrifice and then he took those desires away. The next day I was changed. Baptized at 14- left the faith 14-29. I thought I had to marry a woman to find love, until one night I encountered god at 3:37am and my life is now forever changed. Yes, yes, yes! Jesus is for everyone! I've never been gay, but I've been in deep sexual sin and oppression, and the Lord showers me early on that my sin was NO DIFFERENT from their sin ( homosexuals). As a result, I've never judged or looked down on gay people. Amen!

We serve a merciful God. He said in his word, “he will have mercy on whom he will”(Romans 9:18). He chose to have mercy on Luis that night of the shooting and Im so glad Luis is telling his story. I too struggle with same sex attraction but one thing I took from Luis testimony, is that God’s mercy truly endures forever. I can look back over my own life and see the mercy of the Father in action. Thank you Jesus for Mercy.

I’m a little short of half way through this video and already I know that the Lord wanted me to watch this testimony. I struggle with lust and with my feelings of same sex attraction. I’ve lived an openly gay lifestyle for the past 3 years of my life, gave my life to Jesus about 7 months ago, and still this is one of the hardest most confusing sins that I’m beginning to understand. It’s deep and it’s not only a struggle for unbelievers but a struggle for believers and he touched on this point really well. It’s in part one of the reasons why I don’t speak up and share my testimonies because I feel this spirit of rejection/ whisper of the devil telling me everyone is going to change on you and not see your sin as sin but see you as the sin.
Please pray for me. I know that my testimony will help many people but I don’t always have the strength and the faith to share it because of fear. I trust God to help me and I know that the power of the gospel is the only reason I haven’t turned back to the world. I’m 22 and I never thought this could ever be my life and yet here I am. Choosing God instead of being gay has given me an indescribable amount of peace and joy because I know that I have salvation and the Lord has given me knowledge of where I’m going when I die. I was delivered from “gay community” over 40 years ago. I am 61. The church needs lots of schooling on how to treat this issue and people coming into church from this community. I haven’t get back to church for a long time and it basically destroyed me some of the things that happened and some of the ways that I’ve been treated in church isthat knew my testimony but I’ve been free for 40 years and I love Jesus with all my heart.

God will meet you where you are and lead you by the hand. Focus on Christ’s life, His sacrifice, His love. Let Christ define who you are and not the world. Christ has graven you on the palms of His hands, He has purchased you. These are truths you start with. And end with. In the process He will make you into what He wants you to be, but be patient. Be kind to yourself. Stay close to Him through prayer. Stay close to Him by regularly reading His “pre-recorded” voice (aka, the scriptures) and internalizing His doctrine love and mercy into your heart. I love how Luiz says it, to let your desires become His desires. I promise you it’s worth it!
As long as you are pointed in the right direction, always facing Him, trying the best you can, you will not go to Hell. God is not like that. He’s not a middle-ages vindictive God, but one of perfect Love. He will not force you to come unto Him or be in a place you cannot abide, but He will take you from where you are and bring you another step closer to Him. I went to a gay club first the first time months before with someone who unfortunately passed away in the Pulse shooting. It was me, my best friend at the time, my friend who passed away and his brother. We were celebrating his birthday, I was in the middle of getting to know the Lord at during this time but I still decided to go to the club (not pulse but another gay club) because I always desired going clubbing, that life looked fun. When I went it just made me feel slightly anxious and I lowkey felt like I wasn’t pleasing the Lord doing this but I was so early on in my faith. Few weeks later I got mad at both friends because I felt she was distancing from me and getting closer to our friend that passed away. I was very hurt and felt excluded from that friendship. Then the day of the shooting came, I had remember seeing my friend post on Snapchat that he was at a club. The next morning I wake up to see the news of what had taken place and run to check his Snapchat again and he had stopped posting earlier that night, I wondered if he was at that club. I text my best friend and say Hey were you at the club? Do you know if Omar went? And I can’t remember if she replied or if I seen on the TV that he had passed away, but sadly it was confirmed. She wasn’t there with him because a family member had passed away and she went to go visit family up north, her life was spared!!! Because her and our friend who passed at Pulse were almost inseparable. I was so shook that he had not made it out of the club. I was so shook that she wasn’t there with him, I was so grateful she was safe and at the same time heartbroken to hear he was not. Years later, I often think of how Lord spared her life and wonder about her (we no longer have contact) and how if I hadn’t gotten into that fight with her at that time… I really feel like I would have been there with him and her and who knows if me and her would have also died. I just think wow Lord, I don’t know your plan for my life but you do and I just want to be close to you forever🙌🥺 thank you for your testimony!

His family made it clear as Baptist Christians that they were not approving but did continue to invite him to church and prayed for him for years..He has accepted Jesus who died for all our sins and was delivered from his same sex desire and has remarried his wife and reunited with his children!!!
I live in Orlando and I ride by this place often. It’s just a memorial now. When it happened it was a total shock I was just in shocked mode for that whole week and just lost in silence. It felt like it was unreal. And a girl I worked with said she was supposed to go that night to the pulse Night club and I was in total shock Oh how God protected her and she couldn’t even realize.

I don’t know Luis but I love him. I thought I had a good testimony about my criminal and drug addiction background but it doesn’t compare to his. I know it’s not a competition and we all have our own stories but his is such a powerful one and he’s really good at talking and sharing it. I've always wondered what ever happened to Luis, especially when I first heard of him those years ago. The fact that God told not one but 3 people of what was happening in vision and 2 people that something was to happen proves God protects and warns not only us but others around us. I, too struggle with SSA and I even deal with the thoughts. I thank Him for my community from church, strong men who really want what's best for me. I'm also happy to hear your testimony, Luis, because it is and will be an encouragement to many out there.
I need to repent from my attitude. I vividly remember seeing on the news that tragic incident. I also remember seeing the signs of 'judgment' being held up by people who called themselves Christians. Your testimony confirmed that each of us were called by God for a special assignment. I'm a straight woman but just your testimony alone, removes the gender and allowed made me realize how I need to fix my eyes in Jesus and submit to his plans and purpose for my life. You have changed my prayer request and for that I am grateful. It's amazing how God first called your parents, set their feet on the solid Rock in order to support you and what you have been called to do for our father. It's mind blowing how he connects us for his ultimate purpose and plan. Hallelujah to the lamb that was slain. Hallelujah to God for withholding nothing but freely gave us his best. I have known so many homosexual friends that I have loved as people and also felt torn with God’s word and how to minister. I can see why they would flock to a group in search of unconditional love. I cried too. I used to pray the same things. It wasn’t until I fully surrendered it in my heart I felt gods power touch my spirit my entire body and lost all same sex attraction. It was the first time I let go of the fear of never finding happiness in human love and surrendered it and offered my life to god as a living sacrifice and then he took those desires away. The next day I was changed. Baptized at 14- left the faith 14-29. I thought I had to marry a woman to find love, until one night I encountered god at 3:37am and my life is now forever changed. Thank you Jesus for this man’s life, his testimony, and for your never ending love for him and his life. I pray that those who are lost are found and come to you. I bless you lord, and pray you bring more laborers to your harvest. Amen

Yes, yes, yes! Jesus is for everyone! I've never been gay, but I've been in deep sexual sin and oppression, and the Lord showers me early on that my sin was NO DIFFERENT from their sin ( homosexuals). As a result, I've never judged or looked down on gay people. Amen!

We serve a merciful God. He said in his word, “he will have mercy on whom he will”(Romans 9:18). He chose to have mercy on Luis that night of the shooting and Im so glad Luis is telling his story. I too struggle with same sex attraction but one thing I took from Luis testimony, is that God’s mercy truly endures forever. I can look back over my own life and see the mercy of the Father in action. Thank you Jesus for Mercy.

I'm dealing with same sex attraction. Its tough. I hate it so much. GOD is going to deliver me I believe. This is just something I have to go through, and be tested. Resistance, faith, & patience.
Like his amazing testimony, He needs you to give not just your SSA but your attitude, your feelings, your choices, your likes and dislikes, your thoughts and ideas, basically your EVERYTHING, so that He can come into your life and be Lord of everything within you.
