In February 2019, Tejas launched TJ1400UCB, a 5G-ready ultra-converged platform, which is the world’s first optical access/edge product that innovatively combines fiber/wireless/copper-based broadband access with packet transport services on the same shelf. In October 2019, Tejas introduced TJ1600S/I, which is the world’s largest disaggregated packet-optical product that is capable of scaling to 48 terabits of switching capacity in a small form factor.
