    Will the input lag affect gameplay too much if i already have 90-100 fps? I just want smoother image.

    • @jozadagames6818
      @jozadagames6818  Před 18 dny +1

      If you mean enabling frame generation at 90 fps, then no the latency should be fine if you already have well over 60 fps.

    What does frame generation do? There is a big difference in performance. Does it affect the visual quality at all?

    • @jozadagames6818
      @jozadagames6818  Před 20 dny +1

      It adds fake frames for smoother image, but with worse input lag it won't feel like 130 fps in the frame time u know it's only a frame smoothing technology not performance boosting, and the image can be less sharp at times. It's good only if you already have over 60 fps.

      dlss itself improves visual quality in this game if you compare native 4k to 4k dlss q

    I don't know for you but, it could be just a personal issue for me. My rtx 3080 at 1440p looses performance over time playing tsushima. I start with ~165fps drops to ~70fps. This happems over 3 hours or so. Maybe game has a memory leak issues I'm not sure. But when I restart the game I go back to high frames in the location I was getting the 70s. I have yet to know for sure if it is me or the game.

      It has to be out of VRAM and once it spills over to the system RAM you will have significant fps loss until you relaunch the game. That's why I've used only High Textures in the video at 4K and didn't use FG cause it also takes some VRAM.

    • @jozadagames6818
      @jozadagames6818  Před 18 dny +1

      Future patches should mend the VRAM problem like the NIxxes devs did in Horizon Forbidden West (the latest patch handles VRAM usage a lot better now)

    how could your GPU temperature be so low (only around 60 degree)?

    • @jozadagames6818
      @jozadagames6818  Před 18 dny +1

      Because I have one of the best 3080 models with great cooling design, and I'm also running performance bios(the card has two bios option performance and quiet) I have also pretty good air flow in my case(3 intake and 1 exhaust fan).
      The GPU temp can be also affected by your ambient room temperature.

    Do you think FSR or DLSS is better?

    • @jozadagames6818
      @jozadagames6818  Před 17 dny +1

      DLSS is always better, if you mean just the temporal upscale, but DLSS3 FG is also better than FSR3 FG, but 3080 can use only FSR3 frame generation u know

      @jozadagames6818  Před 17 dny +1

      @@simgeduru6118 You don't have to use anything, it's up to you what you prefer. For example, I have 2 monitors 28 inch 4k 60 hz and 27 inch 1440p 165 hz. I prefer to play single-player games if it's not a first-person shooter on my 4k monitor, even though it's only 60 hz, the image sharpness and clarity are way better than on 1440p. Still, I can take advantage of FSR3 frame generation on my 2k 165 hz monitor and max it out, but I still prefer a 4K image.

      Not at 1440p dlss q like in the video, as I already had high fps, but at 4K dlss q it wasn't good when I tried it, although you can lower the settings to high, but if you use very high textures it will run out of VRAM(FG will use some additional VRAM as well) and once it spills over to system RAM it will be unplayable.
