For them to flawlessly switch from perfect Spanish to perfect English mid sentence is so damn impressive.
I moved from teaching at a school in Spain last Aug. I was sitting here thinking how much I miss listening to Spanish - don't understand most of it but it's great to listen too - way more than the German I listen to now. We call this switch between Spanish and English - Spanlish
It’s called being bilingual. If you learn several languages young - and by learning I mean learning to communicate, not studying to ape a few token phrases - it’s literally like walking to the left or walking to the right. There’s no difference.

My favourite part was the crimson Queen part coz it’s my favourite song. At the end Pau vocally couldn’t reach the high notes so Dany stepped in and belted that voice while Pau did her backing vocals. Dany’s belting just melting me 💕

Keep up the practice Pau , remember practice means perfect .How awesome would be if you could compose a song with all three of you playing guitar ,Ale on bass , Dany on lead and Pau on rhythm guitar during a concert would bring the house down .
I played bass in a rock band when I was in high school. I messed around on guitar enough to know a few basic chords, which of course, helped when I played bass. But I had never learned a song. My band's lead guitarist taught me to play some things. My first lesson went about as well as this. :) Blisters on the fingers are part of learning. At least I already had tough fingertips from playing bass.
These two together are so funny,doesn't matter what situation they are in,whether it is abusing cakes or abusing each others instruments,they just totally nail it everytime,and Dany just can't help herself - she just totally loves Pau making a mistake.

Those Crimson Queen harmonies are simple yet so profound and beautiful. It's crazy that such a simple 2-3 chord song could have such an impact. Dany's voice just keeps getting better and better as she matures and it's beautiful to witness.

I shouldn't be surprised that her right hand (the rhythm hand) is second nature to her. Rhythm playing is a bit like drums.

You’ll play the guitar again when u see how cool u look holding a guitar! Especially when you were standing up. Guitars are curved for a reason. Your voice and an acoustic guitar are made for each other.
Well, that went well, Pau did a good job with Choke for a beginner. I think Dany has figured out the key to teaching, do it with love and respect and go at the students speed.
Dany in particular is really good at explaining things. I also remember her discussion of her pedalboard, when she went into detail about the different settings while not getting lost in the weeds.
I hope that at some point they pay forward what they learned at Berklee in 2015. A lot of young bands could stand to gain a lot from their knowledge and experience. All in good time.
@@robertkrawitz8237 And when Pau gave Dany a drum lesson, Dany said she knew exactly what Pau was telling her, but her body wouldn’t cooperate, they’re like information sponges, they seem to always want to learn something new. It seems they’ve learned a lot in their careers, stuff many pros take a while to get right. I think they’re already trying to pay it forward, their videos teaching stuff like their riffs and solos, inspiration for a lot of musicians to help their careers, and people could be inspired to pick something up, making new musicians. They are working for the future of rock, and inspiring that in others, giving others the same fire they have in them. They are beautiful inside and out.

I watched it live...very entertaining
I'd have no doubt stuck with violin a lot longer in grade school if I had had a teacher who made it fun like Dany did (I quit in 8th grade because of a teacher who...let's just say didn't make it any fun). I did pick it back up and then switched to viola after I graduated college, and then eventually quit again when a job change made it tough to belong to an orchestra...then about a year ago, DPA inspired me to start again. Now I have to maintain motivation. Having sheet music for some TW songs (vocal lines, and Dany's solo from The End sounds like it's playable) would be a pretty good inspiration :-)
Quite familiar with those grooves in my fingertips...
