Yeah pretty smooth but never fly British airways when it is delayed they practically smash the plane into the Tarmac and try to turn off at the first taxiway.
Thanks for the video. I like S.P.'s Congonas Airport with it's intimate feel but I much prefer to fly AZUL for internal flights in Brasil as their planes have more leg room and generally hold fewer passengers (from my experience) Also TAM often have interminable lines at check in whereas Azul is usually much quicker.
Nice trip report on www.airliners.net/aviation-forums/trip_reports/read.main/266139/ and it seems that Oneworld dominates CGH SDU or GRU since LAN Chile brought TAM back in 2010-2012 perhaps Avianca Brazil should partner up with SK since BA,AA & LA uses the JJ feed at both CGH & GRU
Victor Hugo I agree but for me I mainly based them on airline alliances like OneWorld,Skyteam, & Star Alliance and these airline alliances serve my home airport MNL OW (CX,QF, & QR), Skyteam (KE,MU,CZ, DL & KL) & ST (TG,NH,CA,TK, & OZ)
Going to Brazil in June 25 and coming from South Africa we are going ( GRU - RIO) two things I wanted to know is the language barrier going to be difficult and crime and safety coming from South Africa we are very concerned with safety, is brazil generally safe ???
flame3601 I found that English wasnt that widely spoken in Brazil, other than in hotel's/airports etc. Theres a pretty heavy police presence in the more touristy areas so as long as yu use common sense, you should be fine.
Awesome engine startup sound.... great video
SPECTACULAR scenery after airborne and the approach into SDU...BIG like!
MUST HAVE leg for aviation enthusiasts like you and me :-)
very nice video!
good choise of airline you have got me back into my plane spirt!
Stunning video.
Este é o meu país. Cheio de problemas de descasos...mas é o meu país. Parabéns pelo vídeo.
Excelent video, come over to Brazil.
Hugs from BR.
A stunning flight and smooth landing, Sir. well done. :-)

Nice Video :-)
in the four minutes was sounding a rare sound
nice video........keep it up :)!!!!
tam is of one world
I always thought that weird noise after takeoff was the landing gear... Until I heard it during taxi at Heathrow which I thought was strange.
Probably the flaps
Carlo Rivera The flaps were already extended

EpicThe112 Gol has a lot of influence too. The partnership between KL AF AZ DL feed many flights in GRU & GIG

I'm from Brazil
Did you just walk up the stairs at the side of the jetty or did you have to take a bus at Rio?
MrGriser There was a bus. Health and safety rules state that passengers can't use the stairs at the side of the jetty - only authorised people can.
my-tripreport.com I would have liked to have seen the bus itself they are interesting to look at as they aren't those boring Cobus 3000.
Quem me dera mas cadê a coragem
o certo seria SBSP - SBRJ q é o ICAO dos aeroporto

Thanks do you speak the language of brazil ( don't know what they speak )
flame3601 They speak Portuguese in Brazil - but I only speak English.
did you find communicating hard ????
A little, but it wasn't impossible.
i run like a plane
