2:48, I found this the most saddest part of the animation. Pinkie trusts her friends more than anyone and here you can actually see her trying to calm down Rainbow instead of running! She died horribly but she didn't react back she just let Dash do her thing.
The animation was amazing smoothly and I enjoyed every single second watching it!
In the actual Story of this, she survives
But was pinkie trying to murder dashie?
Or she was only trying to give her a cupcake
@@reiivitor6827 I think this was real and not in the dream. She was giving her a cupcake but she was having like flashbacks to the dream, a reference to Cupcakes Hd where she kills rainbow dash and turns her into a cupcake. So no the real pinkie technically didn’t do anything wrong
Rainbow starts to have issues with dreams versus reality at this point and mistakenly stabs Pinkie thinking thats the murder pinkie from her dreams. Pinkie actually survives, but barely

I just noticed that inbetween both dancing scenes pinkie and rainbow swap places. Showing how the victim and murder swapped over the course of the story.

Omg I just noticed at 2:31 Pinkie looks worried. She was probably worried about Rainbow Dash and wanted to invite her over to cheer her up, that’s so sad
Now this is what i'm talking about!! Animating the story of Rainbow's deepest fears of Pinkie torturing and killing her. Going crazy thinking it's going to happen to her, and listening to her head about what could happen! Only to become the very thing she feared in her dreams. Only this time let's say Pinkie was the cupcakes. Love how when Pinkie and Rainbow danced the first time, we see Rainbow scared while Pinkamena's smiling sadistically. Then in the second Rainbow's smiling crazy while Pinkie's dead. Love the effort! Poor Rainbow didn't mean to think like this! Thank you for animating this particular story!

She survived, I’ve read the full comic. She’s just severely injured
OMG I LOVE IT!!! It shows how paranoia can mentally destroy you, look at rainbow! She has nightmares and becomes so scared that she doesn’t want to sleep, in the video it looks like days of sleepless nights, could even be weeks, which can take a toll on a person/pony’s mental well being. She’s exhausted and pushes her friends away, she eventually starts to have hallucinations, even starts to believe her other friends are ALSO trying to kill her, and has an extremely mental breakdown from it, so bad that she LITERALLY goes insane to the point that she feels it will NEVER end unless she kills pinkie, even the sight of a cupcake turns her feral, thinking that’s HER decomposing eye in the cupcake. This is the BEST psychological horror of a grimdark story if I’d ever saw one! If this isn’t great writing and detail I don’t know what is! ❤🎉 Great going, SinclairDuGore!

rocket to insanity is one of my all-time favourite grimfics, and seeing one of my favourite mlptubers animating it in such a unhinged yet accurate way is absolutely incredible!
THIS ROCKS!!!!!! I love love love how absolutely manic this animation is. The way it deteriorates and the linework gets more sketchlike the more sleep deprived and insane Dash gets is AWESOME!!! I love how it reverts to regular animation when she attacks Pinkie, it really makes for a fun disconnect between what Dash thinks is happening and whats reality. LOVE IT!!!!

DUDE. DUUUDE this is so badass are you KIDDING ME. OHHH MY GOD THE AMOUNT OF LIFE AND PASSION IN THIS IS TO DIE FOR i especially really like how pinkie is animated during the nightmare sequences... the use of perspective and expressions are genuinely so haunting i keep going back and rewatching them aha... i also really like the parts at 1:01 and 3:05 that act as a callback to cupcakes hd!!! i'm so blown away by this and i cannot WAIT to watch this blow up :3 MASSIVE props to you!!!

If you take into consideration the actual lyrics of the song this becomes sooo much darker
I honestly thought this was old since Cupcakes HD is around 12 years old now, but then I saw how new the comments were and realized this was from 9 hours ago! Rocket To Insanity has been one of my fave grimdarks for a long time due to the fact it's made clear Dashie doesn't wanna kill Pinkie it just all was way to simular to her nightmare. It also proved the point Pinkie would not have been able to capture Dashie if she had her guard up.
