- We recorded this week's episode live, immediately after Xbox's Developer Direct. And we loved that Direct! Indiana Jones and the Great Circle had a fantastic reveal (it's FIRST-PERSON!) and reminded us of the original Xbox classic The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay, Hellblade 2 looked incredible and we finally got the long-awaited release date, Avowed had gorgeous settings and meaningful character choices but didn't quite wow us in the combat department, and Visions of Mana showed up as a secret and unexpected game. Eh, it was okay. Avowed looked kinda bad. Stiff animations, combat stuck in the 2010s. Mismatched dialogue with lips. Indiana Jones has the same animation problems. And it's third person. What a let down.

Ara was my game of the show. Loved the innovations they thought to bring to the strategy genre. Wish more props were given to them
Digital only Hellblade makes sense. It was the same for the first one.

@bobjoe5937 technically the series x has slightly more power than the ps5 but for the most part they are pretty much identical.
PC version might have VR support. (actually, most Unreal Engine games support VR)
Game preservation can still occur on PC.

Yeah but it’s only used for combat. While this whip will be used for puzzles, combat, traversal and even stealth. So this is gonna be an awesome game. Cant wait :)

The 360 version was Escape from Dark Athena, a sequel which included a remaster of Butcher Bay.

Avowed looked horrible like it’s from 2014. Indiana Jones is first person which is a letdown. Hellblade looks decent but it’s been in the oven for this long that usually is a bad sign. Xbox just has fallen off so hard.
