The chatty vlog was a fun addition to the channel! I like a mixture of aesthetic and unhinged. 😂 Aesthetics are great people we all enjoy a bit of visually appealing, romanticizing of life. It's a fun way for viewers to reframe how they view their own lives to feel more vibey and magical, to break up the monotony of the day. But at the same time, the chatty, 'behind the scenes of life' vlogs are a fun because they're so relatable. People have jobs, and skincare routines, and gym routines, and it's fun to see how other people execute these same systems in their own lives. (Well, at least in my case. 😂)
No matter which type of videos you end up making, I'm excited for the journey. I loved the section where you discussed creating the videos *you* wanted to make. At the end of the day, we're humans, not brands. The freedom of creativity and expression of self is one of the coolest parts of youtube. I like to think of one's channel as a lifelong art project they're building.
(Also, I find it amusing that you chose the frog emoji for this video. In my spiritual tradition, frogs symbolize rebirth and renewal.) 🐸

🐸 I personally enjoy both forms of content, the "unhinged" ones are great for feeling like you're with a friend, while the b-roll aesthetic ones are nice to live vicariously through whatever it may be that you are getting up to. (: I hope that makes sense.

I like both ways. Chatty is fun, but the other is good too. I like to listen to the voiceovers when I am working, I don't look at the screen as often and am able to get a bunch done. 🐸
🐸 I like both, depending on the topic of the video - for instance, for your productivity videos, a voice over style is sometimes more appropriate - but there is something nice about this style of vloggy video that makes it feel like you are hanging out with a friend. Xx

🐸 I like the chatty vlogs, and I really see the perks of the new “auto move focus” camera - but, especially when you moved barely 20cm in the same room, like the bathroom or the kitchen, back and forth, I got a little dizzy. Maybe there is a way to make the sensor less sensitive? Would love to see a version of this again soon 😊

🐸 lol I am a good mix of this style of vlog and the academic-y aesthetic vlogs. The productivity (or not) PhD vogs act as a bit of a motivational thing for me as a fellow PhD student. But this laid-back "unhinged" (but not unhinged in any way) vlog is so much more realistic and I love it

🐸 I like the unhinged! It’s a nice, relatable version considering you’re taking on more of a workload with this new job but as you mentioned it is up to you and the type of content you like to put out. It reminded me a bit of Ruby Grangers videos where the style fits like this one.
🐸 In general, I like both styles! I think there's a place for both within your channel. I do feel that when I was younger I was more partial to the pretty aesthetic videos, and as I get older, these somewhat documentary, candid, semi-unplanned videos feel more authentic than say, a storytime video or a morning/nighttime routine. We're just here hanging out with you, hearing about your day, considering how your habits could impact our own. It's nice to listen along while working or cleaning.

Overall like anything u have to be consistent but I’m so excited to see how you like it. 🐸 I also really enjoy whatever u give us but I did feel like there was something sweet about the ease of this one. I like both chatty and aestheticized! Maybe it’s just me, but I do prefer shorter or single topic videos (if there’s more topics, at least some signposting helps me). I probably miss some good moments, but I typically only watch CZcams in 15min bursts, so if the videos are getting closer to 30min or longer I don’t finish them and then have a hard time catching up later. That said, I’ve been enjoying whatever content of yours I can get to while sippin on my morning coffee!!☕️🙏
