- In today’s video, we push some dirt with the new DD100 Doosan dozer. Been hearing about these for a while so it was fun to finally try one. Thanks to Lano equipment for bringing it out to our site for us to use for a couple days.

Looks like it would be fun using. I think it is cool how you have several people try out the new equipment and get input from them. Shows you are open to your employees, not someone that believes they know everything.

I have 2 doosan excavators, older 175 and a newer dx140. Both are great, i wanted to try the doosan dozer but it wasnt available when i was ready to purchase so i bought the cat d3. At that time the my cat cost me $172,500 with front and rear sweeps standard track 2022. My doosan dealer quoted me $145,000 standard track with ripper once they were available. Now its same scenario with ctl, i want a new one, doosan has one coming, dtl35, specs are impressive but i cant get a price out of them, cat has new 265 model coming in April and already sent me the numbers, i might wait this time.
You guys have such great equipment. Got to spend money to make money
Pretty nice dozer, komatsu dozers have there hood like that, maybe more at an angle, have you tried komatsu before, you'd like a d51, thanks for sharing

Resembles a Komatsu sheet metal wise.
What is the weight compared to the Cat? It looks to have decent power but looks to be spinning a lot. Around our area we like Komatsu dozers. They have a really nice ride that holds grade nice and the cab sits more center of tracks so gives the operator a better ride.
DD 100 is 5000 lbs heavier than the d3 in its class has 4 less hp than the D4. DD130 is 33k lbs and is in the d4 class and has more hp than the D4.

well, everything is nice when its new the test is once it gets to 2500 hours etc

Next is different in cost from a Cat dozer. It should be cheaper than a Cat.
Yeah If it's super close to a cats price I feel like most people will take a cat all day long.

@CHASE Land Management Exactly I'm sure he's very happy the dealership he's pretty much all bobcat and doosan equipment only a couple cats mixed in there
Do you have to pay a fee and fill out papers every time you do an over sized load? Or do you pay the fee and do the papers like monthly/yearly?

Would not buy another devlon, I have this dozer and it's always something electronic messing up

We demoed one and it was terrible. The operator station with controls is so tight it makes it very uncomfortable. The machine isn’t balanced right and trying to hold grade with it was extremely hard. The idea of certain things that compare it to a komatsu is nice but a komatsu dozer is 10x the machine this was.
