Not everyone likes indie music, and I can't force them. All I can do is listen when I am alone or at home. Playlists that you make accompanying every day of my day, when reading books, cleaning the house, when going to sleep and waking up, or just when lying in bed, and I really like it, it makes me peaceful and relaxed. The music honor society at my high school hosts an event every spring called “Coffeehouse” where students who have successful auditions prior to the event can perform folk, indie, or jazz for their peers. A couple of friends and I decided today that we wanted to audition on an original song together. Since I’m gonna be doing most of the writing and don’t know much at all of what is performed at coffeehouses, this is helped me a lot in the planning of the song.
