  • Music with a handpan I was fortunate enough to commission from the talented artisans at Saraz HandPan. This Saraz handpan was one of the first production run, made with a Pantheon Steel spun nitrided steel shell, and features an E Minor scale modeled after the Avalon Halo by Pantheon. Its blue-to-brown coloration is a unique feature of this one of a kind piece of metal art.
    Harmonic sonic sculptures known as Handpans were originally invented by Felix Rohner and Sabina Schärer of PANArt in Bern, Switzerland, in the year 2000. Saraz Handpans offers a unique instrument, offering bespoke artesinal metal works to lucky musicians around the world.
    I feel I must acknowledge the late Dante Bucci, who was the first person to share the music of the Hang and Handpan with me over the then-new platform of CZcams back in 2007. His impact on the Handpan community is immeasurable, and the quality of his character in life cannot be understated. He influenced for the better everyone whose life was enriched by his playing of the Hang.
    TheJerrymobile is a channel where you can expect to find all of the fun, crazy, opinionated, sometimes musical things that my demented mind can muster. I like cats. But more than cats I like making music with unique percussion instruments, finding unique new sounds and ways to communicate musically! I also like news. If you like news and opinion, then subscribe away my friend because we will be working hard to ensure that you are at least passably informed on current events, or at least whatever I read in the paper over my morning coffee. I also like video games though, so don't be surprised if you see me (and some special guests) playing the occasional game and hanging out with all of you wonderful people! We'll be live, we'll be chilling, it will be great. So I hope you enjoy the videos I make, because I'll enjoy them more with you watching. I hope I've won you over by this point so that you like, comment, and subscribe!

    I echo that sentiment. This was just a lot of fun to listen to. Your noodling makes for good music. Glad to see you're able to still work on your music!

    I loved this. You might like the music of Laraaji. His instrumentation is different than yours but the vibe is the same. One album of his that comes to mind is "Ambient 3: Day of Radience".

    I never get used to someone beating on a drum resulting in some "wooooong" sound. This thing just does not look like it sounds.

    • @thejerrymobile
      @thejerrymobile  Před 7 lety +1

      I always considered it a "ding" or a "boing," but "wooooong" sounds pretty accurate too!
