I cope by not being an extrovert lol. Therefore, most of the time, I don't require constant stimulation. For the rest, I try to write to my friends relatively often.
the question was more about how do you cope with loneliness when you miss your friends because even though i text them on a regular basis i can't unfortunately laugh with them or at least it's not the same as when having this proximity link and connection... as an introvert constant stimulation produces stress and gives me anxiety so i avoid it when i can 😅
Hello! As I get older, I find myself more of a homebody and embracing days when I'm alone. To do what I want, watch what I want on TV, etc. I guess it's because I'm more of an introvert 😅 My bookshelves aren't organized because I have them in drawers,the ones I keep. 🤍 This August, I'm making lists of books I want to read. Probably suspense fiction this month! I love a good suspenseful book! Let's see...my favorite cover color is white or beige. I love that aesthetic! I only have 1 unread book but I'm currently reading it. I buy a book, read it,sell it ,then buy another 😂 There are about 12 books I'm dying to get and read though! I saw your Hunted book. I may need to add that to my list. Tour bookshelves look great by the way! My favorite books are probably suspense.
Hi! I definitely feel the same and i need more time to recharge in between social events 🙈 I honestly wish i would have managed my tbr this way : buying one, reading it then buying the next etc. because at this point my tbr really feels overwhelming 🫠 Ohhh suspense books are so fun to read ! White and beige books are so pretty on shelves 😍 I'd 100% recommend Hunted and I really hope you'll find a next favorite in your want to read list 🤎🤎

De mon côté j'essaye de lire tous les livres de Daphné Du Maurier. Ils sont tous très différents, tellement bien écrits. J'aime le suspense et j'aime aussi qu'elle provoque la réflexion.

Daphné Du Maurier est absolument une autrice dont j'ai envie de lire tous les livres aussi ! J'ai prévu de relire Rebecca avec mon club de lecture cet Automne et l'année prochaine je m'attaquerai à ses autres romans 📚

I always feel happy when I see "Lord of the Rings" on someone's bookshelves (or any Tolkien for that matter)
I go through different phases of reading genres, I'm currently loving Police Procedural books.
it makes me so happy too when someone tells me they've read and loved the books ! there's something just so magical and binding about LOTR it's like we're part of the fellowship of the ring as well 🥹🤍

Girl, I felt the same about It, and I loved other SK works. It just didn't hit for me and I feel like I'm the only one sometimes 😅 I think his bare bones stuff is so much more effective! My favorite of his is The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon 💙 anyway, thank you for sharing your beautiful shelves 🙏 happy reading!
I think that if the last 200/300 pages were different i would have loved it honestly ... the ending was just so ridiculous and then disgusting UGH I'm definitely planning on reading all of his book by chronological order starting next year so i'm quite excited about that and the girl who loved tom gordon has been high up on my wtr for soooo long! thank you dear 🤍
@@stuffcelinedoes yes exactly! And I feel like he's at his best when he takes a simple situation and makes it frightening because of what our minds do, like GWLTG or Cujo. Those have always been my favorite works of his, personally 😊

I just finished the first book of The Hunger Games! I really liked it :D I’m excited for the next. I’m in a truly awful predicament though…I went to this farm for 6 days and I only brought The Hunger Games as my reading material but I finished it on the drive over so now I’m stuck with nothing to read really…not even audiobooks 😭 but I do have Ali Hazelwood’s Not In Love downloaded on my phone but I’m not liking it as much as I thought, but it will hopefully get better 🤞🏽 (sorry for the rant haha 😅)

I honestly don't think I've ever drank THAT much coffee in one go 🙈 and let me tell you that i did NOT feel well afterwards 😂 August is such a pre-fall month for me and i really wish the temperatures were cooler so that i could do some activities 😭

I’m excited to continue it! The first book had my attention the whole time so that’s pretty good already. I also find it interesting how the author did this romance, it’s very unlike many other romances I’ve read so I’m interested to see how this will go!
I probably will download some others…it’s such a tragedy that I didn’t bring enough books 😫 oh well, I’ll live I guess (it will be tough though)
August probably feels weird because it’s the end of summer and almost the beginning of autumn. The funk will pass and soon it will be the season of books, cinnamon, and crunchy leaves!

J'ai lu The Dictionary of Lost words il y a quelque temps (peut-être un ou deux ans). J'ai aimé le concept mais j'ai trouvé l'écriture tellement froide que ça ne m'a pas vraiment plu. J'espère que tu l'aimeras davantage
Je suis encore relativement au début du livre mais pour le moment l'écriture me plaît, je croise les doigts que ça continue 🤞🏼
