    I must have studied the anatomy and physiology of the brain before this guy was born. He is the most awesome lecturer in neurology that I have ever heard. Thank you. What a treat. Loved your teaching so much.
    I never understood this stuff in Medical school (1972)...50 years ago.
    So grateful to learn it, now. You are such a good teacher.

    This is the best anatomy and physiology video thank you. I have seen a lot of videos about thalamus and I'm not judging them because they were also helpful but this one is way detailed and explanation is just makes sense. This is my second time watching because after first time I had to take a look overall anatomy of thalamus and learn it. So second time I got it clear

    The thalamus relays sensory impulses from receptors in various parts of the body to the cerebral cortex. A sensory impulse travels from the body surface towards the thalamus, which receives it as a sensation. This sensation is then passed onto the cerebral cortex for interpretation as touch, pain or temperature.

    you are amazing jach ..i learn a lot from your videos and can associate how the thalamus and hypothalamus part of the brain is regulated by the endocanabinoid system ..and this is helipng me in educating people how cbd oil helps tge brain in controlling and correcting the damaged wires in the pappai circuit which is mainly related to memories..heling me impart wisdom to people suffereing from Alzheimer's and dementia ..and working in improving their endocrine system by working on the nucleus of hyopthalamis..its all about coonecting the dots backward to undeestanding something which is leading to look forward
