Love this old gospel song...Brian does a good job singing this...The background singers complement him very well. FWC has the best singers anywhere today! IMHO! I cant believe only 24 people marked they liked this song....This is a song that has blessed me so much!
While I love the song. It is incorrect. Heaven is NOT our home. Paul tells us, "while we are at HOME in the body, we are absent from the Lord ( 2 Cor.5:6 ). We have bought the idea that we will spend eternalty in heaven. Yet, The Bible never teaches that. I use to believe that myself. Till someone challenged me to find a scripture anywhere in the entire bible. I searched and couldn't find it. It says, we have eternal life with Jesus Christ our Lord. But God made man for the earth. Adam was made from the dust of the ground. When the bible talks about NOT OF THIS WORLD, it referring to NOT of the WORLD'S SYSTEM. You can't go live o Mars, or Jupitor, or any of those other planets. Earth is our home. The bible tells us, Be transform by the renewing of your mind. We don't think how the world thinks.
