I recently bought the 7MT pack and have noticed that after putting her in my own scenario the ActviFireman wasn't working. This was especially true for all scenarios (including the ones that came with the pack) that featured the 7MT.
These engines are lovely, I have been waiting for someone to do a review. I was practically camped out at my computer the days before they came out, anxiously awaiting it. I am glad to see a good review.
She certainly looks like a fine engine in spite of the bugs (which strikes me as rather suspect; JT have been at this model for how long & it's still not perfect?). I'll definitely have to put her on my list. Granted, considering how pricey JT's stock is, and that I'm not at all a fan of their delivery system, it may be awhile before I enjoy this engine for myself.
good review Stephen with Oliver Cromwell and well maybe since Britannia is at Crewe for repairs again and Oliver Cromwell is back at the Great Central railway she ain't running yet because she is having her maintenance work done I'll give the Britannias a go on my simulator when I got them and try Britannia out on the Riviera Line on the Torbay Express
I am having a problem with my headcodes.When i am changing the head codes is i hold down CTRL,SHIFT and W and it goes through all the headcodes when i am only wanting one headcode which is the Torbay Express.How can you just select one head code ?.
When you have full hud and the water gauge percent want stop changing such as 98% to 89% and then 97% and the gallons and coal tones won't change either when you put water or coal in the boiler
Afaik sound packs don't change any physics. My tip: Before starting, open the damper and fire up to around 900-950lbs. When starting, put the reverser to around 50% (on the F5 HUD), open the cyl cocks and open the regulator just enough to get moving. After a few wheel rotations, close the cyl cocks, open the blower and fully open the regulator. When you pick up speed, close the blower, wind the reverser back to ~30% (on the F5 HUD). That works for me everytime.
Just bought this today...and it's garbage to drive... i was really looking forward to this locomotive but when i bought her and started the game up, she doesn't fire, i mean literally "DOESN'T FIRE" i tried everything from Simple and advanced mode, the so called "ActivFireman" doesn't work, even Stoking the fire "R" doesn't work. I've tried several reinstall's but every time i come across the same problem... At least they are given some nice light here... but for me they are just lovely looking Trailer Queens... what a waste of money... But thank you for the nice review... i'm just livid i paid for something that doesn't work...
Try looking in the manual, it should tell you the correct methods to fire these. Initially my friend had a similar issue with the JT Clans, but a quick look in the manual soon showed him how to operate the injectors and fire
You'd be much better off buying this from the Just Trains store itself rather then steam, as with the just trains site any purchases you make you get points which you can use to take money off the next DLC. Its normally 120 points per purchase (which equals to £1.20) which you can use straight away just before you check out.
The whistle was something that slightly disappointed me, I was expected the shrill chime of my favourite BR Standard, no. 70000, and instead found that of 70013, still great, but slightly off.
+Footballtraincrash it's because people these days want to be put "in lights" basically and they want to be "famous" but some people unfortunately go overboard and start causing chaos

Yeah I agree, but 70000 whistles like a boss. And so DDs Britannia Sound pack is in WIP
She really does sound amazing. I hope a fix or pack will come, I will definitely get it as soon as one comes out.
