Thanks for watching!
Wonderful that you are interviewing older women! Much appreciated
i know this is an old video, but it resonates with me when she says she has checked out of society. I'M THERE TOO! I'm so done with the nonsense.
You didn't check out of society, you checked into life. Love ya.
Perfectly spoken! I want and Need to do this before it's too late! Thank you!
I'm wondering how she fared when doctor's offices were closed, municipal buildings were restricted, public restrooms and cafe's were closed, necessary grocery products were scarce ????????
@@janet1744a lot depends what state you find yourself in. A fair number of states didn’t do the fear shutdown.
@@janet1744 doctors offices were closed, but you could still do FaceTime virtual, talk time and get prescriptions… Public restrooms were closed, but that’s why you have a body with you and the good old woods… You be amazed at how many people survive through that…
Wendy is FULL of wisdom and common sense. You are living your Life better than the average 40 year old. You are my hero!!!!!!
Agreed! (She doesn't have to refrigerate her olive oil though.)
Just goes to show, age is just a number. What a lovely life she’s living. God bless. 💚
Wendy , I'm your age and wanted to do what you have done despite all tje opposition saying "too old" .. Your proof thats not true. Good luck on your travels, your an inspiration.
Yes exactly tired of fixing things in my house in Florida.
Dianne Harris , yeah Diane I' may do just that.
You're too old when YOU determine you are too old.
you are not too old ! you could be 100 and do this if your body would allow it and it would be worth doing if even just for a few years for the adventure. just do it! you could always go for a bit bigger more comfortable rig too.
Barbra Joan yep
I absolutely love her attitude! I’m a nurse and hope I can live her life. Praying she’ll continue to live this lifestyle a long time!
You could be out doing something fun😂 Wise words indeed💕
You go girl! I can relate when she said she didn’t feel like she belonged anywhere.... my hero, she’s sweet
Wendy give us such inspiration. I hope I'm doing what you're doing soon.
You are my inspiration Wendy. I just turned 72, and I am determined to get out there next spring, hope to meet you on the road. God Bless.
🙂I hope you made it! Safe travels....
WOW, perfect. What an inspiration. At 80 everyone tries to discourage me, maybe there is hope. Thanks Bob, another great video.
Linda, even if you only do it for a few months, at least you can say you DID it. Good luck to you. Hope to see you on the road.
Linda go for its a family out there they will help YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!
As elon musk says
"We only live TWICE"
They have the fear you don't.
Nature is best medicine for us🌵🌴🍀🌾👏🥂🥰😍
76 years young...... amazing energy.
Japhill75 She is a youngin
Bob, THANKS FOR INTRODUCING US TO WENDY!! She is the greatest inspiration. Please keep us posted on how she's doing!! Those beautiful, Southern ladies are so gracious!! Our family loves you, too, Bob!
A lot of people don't know this.. but before getting a traveling van or whatever, a person should have on hand at least 3,000.00 if not better for emergencies and break down repairs. I suggest if you don't have EMERGENCY money.... don't go, until you do. Good luck to all of you traveler's out there! Nice rig. Love the solar thing you got going on! I like the light colors inside.
Here I come, Wendy! I'm 71 and converting my 1995 Ford cargo van... just finished the floor today! Hope to see you on the road some day!
Did you make it out?
😀 74 now.. That's amazing!
@@krklife594 sure did! Down in Baja MeXico right now
@@CreatingChaos actually 75… down in Baja MeXico now! Loving it!
@@donnachameleon9746 🤣❤️❤️❤️
I am in the process of converting my shuttle bus to RV. It was already partially converted. My son is doing most of the physical stuff. I will be 67 next month. I had thought I could go full-time for 3-5 years. Now I think I want to go longer. And I think I can. I think I can. I think I can.
Much respect to your son for helping you reach your dream!!! I would love to do this. I'm going to be 69 this fall, ride a motorcycle, but have day dreamed of dumping the house, get a trailer for my bike, motor home of some type and just GO!!!.
Had to laugh, that cute little Thomas the tank engine saying, " I think I can, I think I can"
Reading through all of Wendy's replies, such, good feedback.
From Australia, of course you can, have a good time.
Follow your dreams, I'm 70 now and have been on the road for over 11 yrs, doing disaster relief and ministry! Tried to settle down, didn't last long, and now going back on the road! I thought i had found what I wanted, so was buying a house, and it was way more expensive, but also, I felt like I was a BB rattling around in a box car! Going from 240 sq ft. to 1400 sq ft. and 3 acres. But if found that , that was not for me now ! Maybe later, but don't think so! I don't want to be cold and I don't to be sweating ! Good luck and go for it!
I think a shuttle bus would be better for the smooth ride. My son wants to help me too. He is the one that showed me what he wanted to do with a school bus and I got hooked. Do you have pictures?
13 years before I turn 76. I've got gym membership on my list. Thank you Wendy.
See ya out there! I’m 76 and ready to see America. Watching you full timers for years. Appreciate all the great advice and encouragement. Thanks God speed
Wendy is definitely a young 76. She is awesome and I'm so glad she made a choice to live this lifestyle. It wasn't because she didn't have any other options. Janice
I admire Wendy so much! She is smart, resourceful, not wasteful and FREEEEE!
Her IQ and attitude have served her well in life and she could teach others a great deal.
I love this woman ... she said, "I am getting more in touch with who I am and where I'm coming from." Yes, young people ... it sometimes takes a lifetime to figure this out. Bless you, Bob, for sharing your journey and all you do! Happy Trails from Texas.
Yesssss!
You are so right. I am turning 64 this month and am just beginning to understand who I am and who I'm not. This woman is very inspiring.
I couldn't agree more.
Yes. So many young (or middle aged) ppl think of seniors as used up and nothing to offer. Firstly, that’s wrong even if youre not a nomad! When seniors don’t receive that notion, amazing things happen!
She's a wonderful strong woman. She has made me hopeful that at 68' I may not be too old to do something like that. Thank you Wendy.
you are definatly not too old to do ANYTHING you want. the world is not the same as it once was, older people do not need to be sitting on a porch somewhere watching things go by,you can do whatever your body allows you to do, if you are able bodied just do what you want! Ive seen triple amputees on the road, I have seen people who have only a few years to live ,one only a few MONTHS (talking about youtubers I follow) if you can live in a house on your own you can live in an rv or van and if you dont like it go back to sticks and bricks. I am too YOUNG to take off on the road too many responsibilities and need to set myself up for MY retirement, I am kinda stuck so I like to encourage older folks to take full advantage of there retirement years!!!! weird to say but sometimes I wish I was 59 instead of 39 ,you can be as free as you choose.I have 30 years or more ahead of me of just working my butt off and trying to make the most of the weekends.
She is amazing, at her age just to go like that , fearlessly. And she looks happy and so healthy mentally and physically. I want to be like her when I grow up
Me too!
You could probably live forever.. you just have to keep wanting life
What a lady! She is great.
She is an fabulous inspiration!
Wendy has a 60's flower child inside her! I hope more senior ladies realize that they can kick up their heels and take to the road. In convoys!
I'm begging my mom to join me, shes 70 and says shes too old to start over...I will be sharing this video
I've got my bottom line reliable income and searching for my van now. My kids are concerned. haha
I'm 76 retired Navy, and retired Auto factory maint. Planing to do this some day.
@@ksdollbaby Trent and Allie have a tour of a 72 year old in a beautifully done up van.
Man I really like her she has the perfect mindset and outlook
Robert Forester, couldn't agree more. I hope so much I'll be living the same way, with that mindset at that age.
SEE MOST CERTAINLY IS AMAZING ! DOES SHE HAVE A WEBSITE OR ON U TUBE . I WOULD JUST LOVE TO FOLLOW HER . I AM 701 AND HAD PLANNED ON DOING THE SAME THING BUT LAST 5 YRS MUCHO HEALTH PROBLEMS , I STILL HAVENT GIVE BUT RIGHT NOW MY LIFE CONSIST OF KEEPING THE DREAM ALIVE THROUGH OTHER PEOPLE LIKE HER . I need to learn to be fearless.
Nice Rig Wendy and keep enjoying your self.
Wow! She is my kind of Woman!! THAT is exactly what I want to be at that age!! Only 16 more years yo go! Awesomely inspiring! Everything she said was words for wisdom!!! Damn! We need so many of her!
When he said she has a great home, how excited and happy she got was adorable. Awesome spot!
A true senior lady that is a real traveler. So glad to see and hear her story. Thanks Bob
One of your best videos, Bob! LOVE this woman. I'm turning 56 in less than 2 weeks and she looks like I do. I better get myself a gym membership! God bless you, honey! You really are doing it up right.
Wow what a lady !!! Crazy awesome. You can see her happiness!!!
Bob, another great interview. This lady is an inspiration . You always make people feel comfortable. Stay well and best wishes.
Adore Wendy! I could have listened to her for hours!
Love her voice. I could listen to her for hours. I'm sure she has stories to tell about her adventures. I also find it very freeing that a woman can live a life of travel without being encumbered by the stresses of life and material things. Wendy inspires me.
Dyna, yes. Love People...Not Things, is my Motto. Things are just that things. Very inspiring video.😊
Yes...she is so sweet and her voice is so soothing. What a great inspirational lady .God Bless her !❤
Dyna yes, her voice is easy to listen to … thought she said she's from Georgia, she does not have the southern accent, though
I really like this lady and feel inspired by her...i like her awareness and her attitude about getting older and the last 2 1/2 years have been her happiest living nomadic!! Glad she shared, thank you Bob as i think this video is from nearly two years ago..
Loved Wendy and her Class B....both are class acts. 🙌
She is really amazing... love her.
Wendy is my new hero! Please give us another video on her! Have you kept up with her?
Wow, what a lovely and lively lady. Great interview Bob.
Very nice lady. Proves age is just a number. What a nice little rig. Amazing energy & outlook on life.
Such a wonderful home and so organized. Wendy is just lovely.
I'd love a rig like that! Surprised her solar runs the fridge and everything else, wow.
Noreen N Right
You GO Wendy! What an inspiration! Nice rig!
Wendy, we have the same name and both have a dog named Bella! I love your rig and your attitude. I am wanting to check out of society myself and been binge watching Bob's videos for information and inspiration. Thank you, Bob AND Wendy for sharing with all of us who need a little shove!
Ian 62 and just got myself a van getting ready to do same 😍 thanks so much for sharing
Good Luck!
What a wonderful woman Wendy is, and a great home she has! Very nice interview!
GreggFLA I know right
💃Wendy, thanks so much for the inspiration. I am a 60 yr old disabled woman trying to get up the courage to give up my low income apartment & start living life. The motto in my complex is "dying to get in, dying to get out"...how sad. I'm not ready to just lay back & wait for death to come. Although these 4 walls of my studio apartment seem to act like security sometimes, they really aren't. Being confined & committed to this way of life is extremely unhealthy for me, not to mention depressing. I hope to cross paths with you sometime soon. Thanks for the kick in the butt I needed. Happy & safe travels!
Thank you Bob for all you do. I've been watching your channel for quite a few years now. Glad you found Wendy! 🌹💋🌹
She's so sweet. God bless.
I love Wendy!! She is such an inspiration. Wendy, please consider starting a channel here on CZcams. So many would benefit from your words of wisdom!!! ❤️
Wow what a lady and 76 way to go!
Wendy, you go girl!
Wendy I can tell you are truly enjoying and living life.... U Go and keep loving the world you are making for yourself.
Absolutely love Wendys expression when she said " you could be doing something fun" ... such an inspiration!
I'm going to be 30 this coming March and can only hope to be this cool in 46 years.
15,000 Klicks & Home
15,000 Klicks & Home me and you both. I've always been drawn to people older than me for the wisdom they have and stories they tell. A lot of my friends are my parents age or older even. I think older people are way cooler than young people. Especially today's younger people.
What day? I turn 35 in March. I’ll be officially old, lol.
such a beautiful comment
She's an inspiration
OMG this was one of the best interviews!!!! I LOVE WENDY. SO SO inspiring. And I do get so fearful but hearing her speak really helps! Older and Bolder. Go Wendy!
Ok now this lady is the real " Wonder woman "!
Liked seeing her food choices, She has such a calming voice.
I love her attitude, her view on life! Wonderful Wendy is an inspiration!
Quite an inspiration. I've had dreams of this for years. Love her fearless attitude.
Love this beautiful lady! I am going to be just like her some day. Turning 68 in a month. All ready have my gym membership.
Wow! Excellent interview Bob! Love the quote "living your life instead of just enduring it". Wendy is such an inspiration! Thank you to you both! ✌🧡🌞🇨🇦
Make thyme tea, add to a spritzer, and use it for in between cleanup. Great for your skin.
What a great life! You go girl 😊 I am 63 and headed in a direction of being a freer spirit every year , too! Freedom is awesome !!!
Fearless and fierce.
I love the enthusiasm of older folks. They are so passionate about what they talk about. Reminds me of my dad
Wendy good for you girl. Enjoy life.
Wendy and Bob, I have to say that this is one of my favorite videos!
What a lady! Thanks for sharing!
Wow! Great lady.
Wendy is awesome! Great interview! She is living life to the fullest!
Wendy is a truly inspiring person.
I’ll be 65 this month and cannot imagine the strength and NERVE this and other women doing this have. I do so want to see the parts of US and Canada that I haven’t seen, but feel like I need a companion. But I’m thinking of trying this as a way of traveling, though not on a permanent basis. Good luck to this sweet lady!
Great van with a beautiful owner! Enjoy the journey Wendy...and for proving it's never too late to take the path less travelled! 👍
She's awesome!! Safe travels Wendy:)
At 76 she is living life to the fullest. I'm 76 I'm sitting here watching people that are happy and having fun. I'm living life tho you tube. Money does help.
Wendy is a terrific gal! Quality of life that is for sure. Thanks for sharing!
Hopefully we will meet ya on the road Wendy! Your an inspiration to everyone!
You go, girl! It's so good to see all you women out there. I lived in a van in my twenties, and will do it again in a few more years, when my husband retires, (and if anything happened to him, I'll go it alone, no problem). Hope I see you somewhere, Wendy - I'll be sure to introduce myself to ya.
I wish I was as brave as you. I'm 72
I absolutely love her! Totally inspiring! What a gal!
Wendy, thank you so much for your hospitality! You have a great looking home that you can be very proud of. Really enjoyed your outlook on life, and I thank you for being an inspiration to so many people. Bob, excellent interview as always!
I love this woman! She has amazing energy!
Go! Ms. Wendy, go!
You’re amazing! I am 66 and getting my rig ready for the road.
Good for her. Nice rig, nice woman. Live the dream to follow the sun.
WOW!
Wendy's back story sounds just like mine!
I would love to have a Class B, but that won't happen for a while.
Glad to see she is SO amazingly blessed by God!
What a cozy and comfortable home she has...just great!
What an awesome lady! Thanks for sharing!!
Sooooo Great to see a fellow senior enjoying life sooooo much. !!
Hey Girl, I'm in love again. Beautiful inside as well as outside! 😚
Wendy, you rock!
