Hammer, I support the FDA 100%. Alcohol causes Oral, Esophageal, Gastric & Pancreatic Cancer. Ask yourself, is Ghana a Christian or Islamic nation? If Yes then Alcohol is prohibited. When did you start loving music and showbiz? for me, probably class 3,4,5,6. You love music best as a lad growing up in primary school and JSS and that extends to SHS. Kids are easily swayed by their Icons AND WHAT THEY LIVE FOR OR PROMOTE. Celebrities must lead an exemplary lifestyle. This is why FDA said from 6am-6pm. FDA never said Celebrities cannot advertise, they said 6am-6pm. Most kids will be asleep by then. It hurts the artist in a way but celebrities can find other brands like automobile, energy drink, food companies etc. 50 cent made money from Vitamin water, over $50 million. Puff Daddy's downfall is CIROQ alcohol company, by suing them and now Diddy is in a Deep hole. Alcoholic business is always like selling drugs, alcohol is a drug, so it doesn't end well for both advertisers and consumers. Nana Ama McBrown left the UTV ABEN SHOW for Matilda Asare, because according to her she doesn't advertise Alcohol for her followers but Matilda was ready to advertise anything. This is one of the reasons why i respect NANA AMA MCBROWN ( Watch her programs or any event and see if you will witness an Alcoholic beverage been advertised ? Yet she is richer than 80% of the Ghana Celebrities. Selling alcohol doesn't necessarily make you rich. ). Celebrities must find other ventures to generate income and not depend on ONLY Alcohol advertisement... THIS IS MY HUMBLE OPINION..
