I was just singing the song and my daughter said I’m lying about the song . She said it wasn’t real , I made it up. I opened it up on CZcams and there it was❤❤❤. Blakk rasta a more 🔥
What a song - could not believe it, when 5 months ago this song about Obama came on the radio in Accra, Ghana, during the heat of the Democratic primaries. There is such enthusiasm for him in west Africa, and everyone asked me (an American) if he really had a chance. What a message and example to the rest of the world, if (when) he is elected. We would restore faith in the US from the world (just look at international polls). What a chance we have!
Cheers Black Rasta. One of the best reggae songs ever compiled. Hail Barrack Obama the world community misses you. You did the Black community proud not only in America, but in Africa too. Will always remember your visit to Kenya. Long live Barrack Obama. Cheers Black Rasta
Nice song.. Barack's visit to Ghana is symbolic...in many ways-most symbolic for millions who died in the high seas and millions who ended in the Americas as a result of tribal wars...lesson unlearnt.
Great song! Great artist! Blakk Rasta, is due to leave Accra (Ghana) on June 19 for Jamaica where he will film a segment of a new video he is doing for his Barack Obama song. The video will have scenes from Ghana, Jamaica and Kenya.
What many people do not know is the fact that this song was recorded long before Obama was even selected to lead the Democrats' party, not alone his election as a president. I heard this song on the radio before going to read more about who this Obama guy is. Even the date this official video was published here on CZcams (6 June 2008) precedes the American election that brought Obama into office.
Kwasi Harisson i waa young when i first heard of him i wasn't excited and now i know why. Just both sides sold themselves so how can they change anything?
Yea I dont have a problem with him representing Ghana but he is trying to send a message in his music and honestly speaking I think he is more able to reach out to a wider variety of persons in the reggae style, persong of different backgrounds. But I think he did well in represnty his country Ghana since he has the flag present and the video seemed to be flimed in Ghana. I love the video and the women look lovely.
and dont forget to read what famous poet Pamela Sneed wrote abt this in her book KONG two years ago ;-) ... a writer for the future always ahead of time...
I was also there. They are selling Obama biographies on the streets and shirts. Too bad they don't have the same enthusiasm for their own election, just as big there.
@MaGmaRinE....... He is praising the bmlack man not campaigning for him, obama made all blacks happy that is why he is praising him. respect jah rastafari! one love
Hey, thax for sharing nice rasta music, its kinda hard to understand what he is saying but good song tho. I guess alot of artist are singing tributes to obama.
Yal just hating on Barack Obama because yal dont have swag like he does, so stop hating and start appreciating OBAMA FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I swear man i still hold lots of Hope for Obama cuz he better not let us down. All these really beautiful peaceful people sang for him he just cant screw up im serious.
Well said. Does this African artist know Barack Obama said "colonialism has no affect on modern Africa?" I was soooo disappointed in Coco Tea.. and Steel Pulse for their Obama songs. You'd think David Hinds would know better. Why did he immediately want to lump Obama in with the great leaders in history? Really strange. But they did play at Bill Clinton's inaugaration.
@MaGmaRinE , But Barrack doesnt have the usual political mind/ toughts ( sorry for my bad english ), he is all about to better the life of the citicens and does not only think about america, but the 3rd world country's to, with all of his heart. That why rasta accepts Obama
I’m here for the vocalist Nana Ama Dadzie 🇬🇭🇯🇲🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭👌🏽👌🏽🔥🔥🔥🔥
I was just singing the song and my daughter said I’m lying about the song . She said it wasn’t real , I made it up. I opened it up on CZcams and there it was❤❤❤. Blakk rasta a more 🔥

Obama isnt who we thought he was.
I am American, and I have to agree we still have some very Ignorant people here that is just looking at color and not wants best for the country.
RASTA TYME
I hope we get some diss songs since Obama betrayed the people who elected him and turned into bush 3.
@ajvarofdoom okay i guess you're right.
Who are you talking about? Obama is not a Rasta...and Blakk Rasta is NOT supporting Obama so what the heck?...
I don't understand how anyone got anything out of this song, all I heard is Barack Obama. didn't understand another WORD!
@MaGmaRinE , But Barrack doesnt have the usual political mind/ toughts ( sorry for my bad english ), he is all about to better the life of the citicens and does not only think about america, but the 3rd world country's to, with all of his heart. That why rasta accepts Obama
