- Today, let's talk about the story of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark. It is said that among European royalty, there are three major fashion icons: Queen Letizia of Spain, Princess Catherine of Wales, and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark. Although Mary may not be as famous as the first two, she is very popular in Denmark due to her sweet appearance, gentle personality, outstanding fashion sense, and consistently good physique over the years. After marrying into the royal family, Mary has had very few negative news stories. Of course, this success is not solely her own. When she first arrived from Australia, she dressed somewhat modestly, had no aristocratic background, and only knew a few simple phrases in Danish. Despite this, when she appeared beside the admired Crown Prince, the Danish people were quite accepting. Local newspapers even enthusiastically suggested to Queen Margrethe to quickly approve this marriage. Imagine if this had happened in the UK-there would likely be many sarcastic comments and criticisms.

If anyone believes the stupid rumours about their infidelities you're nuts. The Danish prince would never do that to his mother the country or his very own family. I'm sure any odd behaviour can be explained by the coming change of rulers. This is not something you pull our of your sleeve. Sure they announced this recently but I'm fairly certain that its been in the works for a while. The brother and his second wife moved to Paris and then the US. (He has a serious alcohol problem so maybe he was going to try to get sober. He will have new duties when Frederik assends the throne) A few less people on the royal dole so to speak and The Queen deciding (after Elizabeth's passing) that maybe she wants to have some retirement relaxation before she dies as well. Frederik knew his responsibilities to take a wife and Mary knew as well. They don't take their marriage lightly, for them there is no divorce. The rumours are stupid. If you watch the speech she gave at his 50th birthday you would stand up and applaud what a wonderful woman she is and they are a great pair. (use the subtitles) edit for spelling
