A young man that I've known for many years is involved with gangs, and deals drugs. He grew up with my kids back in the 90's. As an adult I asked him how has he refrained from not having tattoos on his body. He said that promised his mom never to make his body with tattoos. He's 40 now and still zero tattoos 👍

This is why i let my kids jam his music in my house. He is a positive rapper and if u listen to his lyrics, he has positive msgs. I cnt stand this new school rap, but old school i love. He is the only exception in my house. Not only is he different, but i never thought of him as a thug. I looked at him as being one of the greatest of this new rap stuff. true. but in his genre, it lends to thug life, not art or culture. that's his point. for example, a tattoo artist, it lends itself to art and expression. that's a different genre. and for ALL ppl, tats are evidentiary and legal cases are won bc of them (personal experience). end up in prison > automatically labeled a thug, and then each of those tats are cataloged for legal purposes.
