I just love how Shale reacts to this whole thing. Especially when the others are just getting tired and Leliana in particular is completely hypnotised and Shale is just like ‘can we go because I literally cannot move’.
i like that shale flat out states that they should go since she is a golem and the magic doesnt work as well on her as it does on flesh and blood beings
I remember when i was small i was camping with the boy scouts the trees were very tall and the branches were higher up then my house only thinng lying around was stone , dirt and leaves. it would take like 10 mins to find even one branch with the whole troop looking.
Eh, they're the ones who make the most sense. Morrigan and Sten are both aware enough to be conscious of their situation when the party is trapped in the Fade. And I guess Shale isn't affected by magic the same way normal people are? Maybe Shale recognizes magic when she sees it due to all the experimentation with magic that her previous owner, Wilhelm, subjected her to?
I think it depends on willpower or something. I went to Redcliffe and the mage tower before I went to the forest, so my characters were of higher level and had better stats. All of my party was able to resist.
Kekeke. My playthrough, Wynne was the only one that lived, and I was like, "What?! ...oh, wait, I have Revival, and you've kindly put everyone in a tiny circle for me. -evil grin-" I like how Zevran goes, "Go figure."
See at the time I only had Wynne as my mage, and thus my entire party passed out and she had to defend herself. Mind you she was rather underleveled for this quest, so she was unable to do any serious damage considering I hadn't actually gotten her a good staff yet. So she has only support spells, and I had to heal and buff myself repeatedly in order to survive. The lesson here kids is to equip your people with good gear so you don't get wiped like I did.
I almost feel like this should have been an instant game over if you linger, and the player is just left wondering what the hell that thing was. Or maybe you find out in one of the sequels or later on in the game. It loses a bit of its power being able to survive it.
It's stuff like this that makes this game so special, this is a completely optional and unnecessary moment for the plot in the game, but so much effort went into it by the devs. Tons of lines, the character's personalities , etc, that you'd never hear if you didn't stop there.

that's the best modded leliana i've seen.......and wynne looks better too, somehow. XD anyways back 2 topic....this camp always gave me the creeps....no matter hw many times i found it
Milu0000000, I think I know it. Danaduchy downloaded tucked hair on dragon age nexus for wynne's hair. He downloaded core and single player morphs as well. This mod makes you can change NPCs appereance, danaduchy selected wynne mrh file, he changed wynne's hair and low wynne shape face on unique shapes on the toolset.
