Yes, the hurricane scene was done on a Hollywood set. However these days, a real hurricane will pass-by soon enough. OBTW: Look closely at the map that was used. It showed the Broward/Dade counties in Florida, as an island.

What a cool flick !. Spaniards killed anything in front of them in those days , all across South America and southern States. Natives dressed like dogs dinners. Illegible maps and more nice tarts than you could shake your stick at !. 😮😊 . Wonderfull ship models plying the waves and Alligators ready to make you a snack. 8 out of 11. Thanks all. Dave
