Cool bike. Nice review.
you KILLED this video
thank you!
Bra test av Tuonoen🤙🔥✊
Takk takk 🥰
Fantastic review, really dig the honest assessment, considering you went with the RS. You reaffirmed my decision was a good one, as I just put a deposit down on the Tuono 660 Factory!
Cheers from frigid Vermont, USA!
Awesome! I have to say I really dig the New black color for 2022. Cheers!
Isn’t the throttle jerky on closing? Not a smooth deceleration. I sold the bigger Tuono because of this annoyance.
just by the way you did this video I subscribed. now I will look at what else you have done. I think you will ride your RS now and wish you were riding the Tuono. riding a sport bike is to much hard work.
I would be lying if I said I haven’t thought about it.. maybe one for each use? 😍😜
Great video. Any chance I can get a link to some of those photos that you took with the beautiful background?
Hi mate, just one tip, clutch should be pulled with 2 finger, on very soft clutch with one finger for better grip of hadlebars, yep on smooth road and relaxing crusing no debate about 4 fingers but for hard driving or enduro/enduro touristic bike on gravel and rocks you defenitely learn this 2-1 fingers technique for all time. And then you shouldn't got trouble with control panel. :-)
Maybe, I still think there would be a distance-issue, but I’ll test it out when I can 👌
You can disable the wheelie control independent of traction control only if the bike is fitted with the optional IMU.
Thats awesome! I've heard about people switching out the ECU US vs EU to get the integrated turn signals as well. Thanks!
@@MrDrakenhoff Yeah, but we're in Europe. We already have integrated turn signals.
Nice review 👍… would be fun if you could compare the 660 Tuono with its bigger V4 factory sister… give your thoughts…
Thanks! I'll try to make that happen some day... some day! :)
Great review. I was wondering if there is excessive vibration in the foot pegs, bars and seat?
Thank You! Nothing major imo. Footpegs on the tuono has rubber to reduce vibration. There will be some vibration on higher RPM's though.
As Tuono owner - Big vibrations even on low RPM
I want the rs660 so bad!
Føøøøøørst! #fanboi
WOOOOOOO!! Been here since day ONE!?
So you can't turn off the anti wheelie on the tuono ?
You can, if you turn off the Traction Control all together. On the RS it’s a separate option 🙌
So…if you had to do it again…RS660 or Tuono 660?
Like I said, I was looking to experience how owning a sportsbike would be. If that doesn't appeal to you, I reckon the Tuono is more fun for the roads!
@@MrDrakenhoff I’ve also never owned a sportbike either. I had an mt07 and now an r7 on order due in December because I wanted
that supersport experience…but with so many people complaining about the aggressive ergonomics of the r7 I’m rethinking my decision.
@@JamesBond-ph6hr so did you get the R7? I passed it up because the positioning was too aggressive. My back and neck would be killing me after 30 mins. 😆. I got the Tuono 660 instead.
How is it compared to MT-09? This is more expensive and less powerful.
this is mre leaned forward thatn the MT09. Better brakes and feel on the front wheel going in corners. Feels a bit lighter. The MT09 engine though does pull better than this!
@@MrDrakenhoff not surprising, since even MT-07 has more torque and power than 660 up to 8500 rpm.
@@yurig2530 but the Tuono 660 are a lot faster then Mt07🤙🔥
@@helgejohan3604 not quite
@@helgejohan3604 I would say much much faster :)
Bro where are these roads? There's some good roads in the US, but nothing like that with twisites, smoothness and view.
Sure there are! I live in the northeast, FANTASTIC roads in upstate NY and all over NE!
Switzerland, Southern Germany perhaps
How tall are you? Nice review.
Thank you! I'm 185cm.
Thanks. 👍🏼
Your talking about the throttle being twitchy. But you are riding in Dynamic mode! 😆. Dude ride in comfort and the throttle is not twitchy. At least mines is not. 😉 Nice Review
Thanks! After dealing with my own RS660 over a year I ride in throttle map 2 (middle setting) and I've come to the conclusion that it's non necessarily the throttle, but the bikes fueling that cuts quite early. An ECU map would probably fix this.
@@MrDrakenhoff ahhhh got ya. I have not been in any mode yet but commute. As I am in the break in period. I will try it out and see what the results are. 😉
@@superstarsfastcars awesome!
8:05 Lurer på hvor de merkene kommer i fra 🙃
Flue som traff kamera!
BURNOUT!!!!
The problem is that with a big bike licence in the same price range the Tuono 660 competes with MT-09, MT-09SP, Z900, Z900SE which are better bikes for the money.
Besides looks why would somebody take a Tuono 660 before a MT09SP (better suspension, more powerful, much quicker and faster, same level of electronics, up to 50 liters factory top case for daily commuting and shopping.
I got the same problem for the new Ducati Streetfighter V2 with same options, besides looks for the price you get the way better 2022 MT-10SP, 2022 Super Duke R EVO, 2022 ZH2, 2021 S1000R, 2021 Tuono V4 Factory.
So in my opinion the choice would rely mostly on looks and a bit on brand loyalty.
Its just your opinion bro. Your bikes you list, super ugly. And like MT09SP cost the same as Tuono 660
This or Kawasaki Z900?
this
Buy the Honda if you want to avoid all of the poor reliability of the aprilia.
great reviews of this bike, but the success on the market is unfortunately undermined by the miserable value for money.
Buyer beware! My Aprilia Tuono 660 broke after 9000 miles. And now my engine has to be replaced under warranty.
14:42 I guess it does need a bigger brake to brake the bike so it doesnt break😂
What can I say.. the internet is weird ;)
If only it was reliable and not in the shop every 2 weeks....
Bike cost so much and it all stickers instead of paint 🤣
American English - what a disappointment from a fellow European.
The British is the real European disappointment ;)
