Movie : The Edge of Seventeen
Everyone knows that growing up is hard, and life is no easier for high school junior Nadine (Hailee Steinfeld), who is already at peak awkwardness when her all-star older brother Darian (Blake Jenner) starts dating her best friend Krista (Haley Lu Richardson). All at once, Nadine feels more alone than ever, until an unexpected friendship with a thoughtful teen Erwin Kim (Hayden Szeto) gives her a glimmer of hope that things just might not be so terrible after all.

I love this! I felt Erwin and Nadine's relationship was underdeveloped in the movie. But, I think Nadine also started liking Erwin after spending time with him in the swimming pool. I mean the way she looks at him eachtime he says 'he understands what she is going through.' Ahhh... What do u think?

I felt like that was the point though. As someone who has the controversial opinion of Nadine was ultimately wrong through all the nuance, the point is to realize that there are people who are willing to care about you you just need to realize it and so at the end of the movie when she gets invited to the group she is free and destined to start new connections letting go of the past.
