I'm not sure I understand the point of this. Doesn't the USB nugget work as a wifi nugget as well since it's esp3252?

The esp32s2 can't do wi-fi deauthing, while the esp8266 can't do native USB

I just bought a USB nugget thinking it was the same as the WiFi but with USB. Dang. So I'd have to de-solder the MC in order to put female pins on my main board huh?

yes of course I DIY this USB nugget on a breadboard with esp32-s2-mini, OLED, 4 push button, and jumper wires and it works the same as in this video the only thing I don't have in my DIY is not having a neopixel LED but important it works the same I will add neopixel when my order is arrived from ali express
