I am from KTM, Nepal. I saw a lot of comments of people saying that MERAKI were not great. I am gonna speak out some facts. First of all, MERAKI was in a competition of its own. They were not competing with other bands. They just wanted a platform to reach the Nepali Audience through Band Champion Nepal which they have gracefully done. "Maya Ho Ki" is one of the stellar composition and already a hit. No other bands have come that close to composing and executing their own songs in the stage. We all know it is not easy to compose new songs. It's very easy to cover songs though if we compare to composing own music. I don't think MERAKI needed to win this competition. Now, if they work hard and get some sponsors for their album and videos, Nepali Music Industry will receive great songs. To put it into perspective, Chris Daughtry became fourth in American Idol. I don't think we know who won the American Idol that season.
Second thing, Freebirds have performed three of their original songs which are great compositions. I hope they record those songs and bless Nepalese Music Industry with some Grunge tunes. But I see the main backbone of Freebirds is the drummer. The vocalist needs to work hard as he sounds off a lot and most of all, Sangam needs to work very hard. I don't know what's the reason of putting out vlogs when the competition is coming to an end when he should be focusing on practicing more. I am just afraid they are not very serious now. Sabaile Maya dekhayera hola, Freebirds band chai aile dherai mattiyeko jasto laagcha. Yestai ho bhane chai kta harule BCN jitcha, Australia jaancha ani Nepal aaucha and vlog haaldai bascha. Music ma ali invest hunaparyo. Ajhai practice garnuparyo
Satapdi is next 1974 AD. Aerials Nepal is next Axis. Frozen is next Mantra.

Meraki: Wish you a very happy journey in musical arena. Nepal ra India ko kuraa hoina, all the bands are equally good. Kurai garne ho bhane there were several other bands who played much better, but got eliminated, accept the truth. All the bands were sometime UP and sometime DOWN, nobody are perfect. Consider top 10 bands as the winner and wish them for their musical journey ahead. We want to hear Meraki again and again. 👍️

Elimination rounds are tough for all bands. Meraki got eliminated through votes today. A great and professional band.
We should not forget that all the top five bands got to this stage through the votes and love of fans.
The format is such that one band gets eliminated. So we should all accept and move on and enjoy the rest of the show.
The top 10 bands all performed well. They are all winners but the format will allow only one champion.

All bands are excellent. If some bands are out doesn’t mean we have to blame the show or talk about partiality. Nepalese people love band from both Darjeeling and sikkim. We helped Prashant Tamang to win the Indian show too.
Let’s not divide ourselves. Music shall be uniting rather than dividing.

Band Champion Nepal: From next season onward, Mr. Iman Bikram Shah should be one of the judges for his valuable feedbacks\suggestions to the bands on technical matters. Need not to replace other judges rather add one more seat. Sound is the key and essential factor for each and every songs. 👍️

There was no single band better or deserving then the Meraki , not one single band in the entire season who is anywhere close to the technical and professional level of Meraki.
They literally nailed a record of their own and set such an incredible high bar playing such classic and their beautifully well composed original songs in almost each and every time and episode they performed. They set up a record , I wonder any band can touch or stand up to even in the coming future seasons of this championships.
