Regardless I'm on a similar boat, my Aeron's about 2 years old and it's not as bad for me since I have an Atlas headrest on it which is a must imo for such a chair, but trying to fold up my legs is tough due to the hard plastics + the lumbar support isn't as aggressive as I think it should be for such a product

My classic Aeron has never cut off circulation. You may have ordered the wrong size chair. I tried Hayworth Fern, and I am going back to Herman Miller. The Fern is definitely overpriced junk. I used the HM COSM at work, and that is another good chair from Herman Miller.
im looking at getting one from facebook marketplace for $375, its fully loaded and doesnt look beat up at all. should i get it?

That's why you get a warranty and a brand new one. I love mine and use it 8-12 hours a day and I work remote.
hmmm mine has lasted since 1998 though.... still good.... only last year the seat pan had to be replaced as the hip bolt broke....else mesh is still solid...
I ended up purchasing the chair locally on Facebook Marketplace brand new and fully loaded for $450. I suspect it was from a company who closed offices. At that price, it was definitely worth it to me. $1500+... not so much haha.

You sure you got the right size or were sitting with it with correct posture? It's weird that your legs hit the plastic as mine never have :o.
But hard to disagree with why you swapped lmfao. That's the thing about the Aeron, it's a chair FOR correct posture, no more no less. It's built for 90 degree body angles, both feet on the floor, etc, if you try anything else you're gonna be hurtin 😂. Learned that myself and that's why I'm about to double up with another chair (steelcase leap maybe?) so while working I can make sure I have my picture perfect posture with the Aeron, but when I'm ready to chill I can get some flex with something that will LET ME be lazy with my posture lmfao.

Thanks for the video, I bought the chair recently and it still hasn't arrived, I was discouraged but I will try it and I hope I chose the right size, I ordered a size B, I am 5'8" and 180 pounds, here in Mexico, almost no There are options to choose from, I only had the Steelcase Gesture, the Embody and the Aeron available, I bought the Aeron on sale for 1819 dollars with the leather armrests, it is very expensive for me but that's how taxes are in Mexico :c, I chose it About the others because I want to be upright when I work, I also hope to reduce my hours sitting, no matter what chair is used it is not good to be sitting for so many hours, however, in your case I would make the 12 year warranty valid if the mesh is already It does not have the resistance of the beginning, I would complain only for the price paid, again thanks for the honest review, it is horrible to see how other CZcamsrs do not mention these things.

How are you finding the chair one month on? Was size B the right option?
@@ethanscotthin In my personal opinion, the chair is horrible, my legs fell asleep 30 minutes after sitting in it, I decided to buy a Logitech embbody but it was worse, I am in the process of returning both.
You bought the wrong size for sure.
Have you seen the Herman Miller Embody? they did a collab with logitech for it
Yep I had that one too and it was more for look and not comfort. Want a good chair at all. And made a popping noise every time you lean back in it

could be you chose a size that was too big, the frame shouldn't be making contact. Steelcase is a good alternative.
Exactly. I’ve tried the C size which Herman miller says that is the size for my height but when I’ve tried size B it was much more comfortable. Size C was cutting my leg circulation after a while because of the seat length.

@@jg3159 yes. I’ve ordered an aeron gaming size B as well. I’m a 5’11 and 206 pounds. Size C was pressuring my legs because of the seat size and my preference is to have my legs without this pressure when I’m sitting

@@jg3159 i'm 175cm (5'9"), 55kg (121 lbs) and i've sat on size A in a store and it felt far too small. size B feels perfect
I think your chair might be too big. I'm 6'2" 180lbs in a Size C and my legs do not rest on the hard plastic. If i had shorter legs i think that they would rest against the plastic however. my back also fits the back rest perfectly. Size down your chair.

dude u bought the wrong size.
Judging from the video, the chair is a little too big for you: the seat front is touching the back of your knees and the backrest sits a bit too high on your back. That’s what’s causing you to lose blood circulation in your legs and causing you to feel the hard frame.
Looking at how you sit in it you should have got a size c considering your inseam length
That dust is the fibers from your clothes. I never liked the chairs enough to come off of 1k +.

LOL Yea if I were you I would hold off on getting the Herman Miller chair...in my honest opinion in the beginning it was good...but long-term for the money you're spending it's not the best to me.

dont rely on this review only. he is complaining about a core thing of the chair, i have big doubts on the reviewer. This chair has been best reviewed all over the place, I really doubt the plastic in front is uncomfortable. Maybe if you are not sitting correctly. I would try out the chair with professionalists, not with random youtubers...
@@bluetorch002 Obviously when one is ready to shop around, they cite multiple sources but regardless his take is still valid as I’m sure someone else may have the exact issue. It’s something to keep in mind for those who may want to spend the dollars buying a high end chair and did not consider the long term usage and maybe the inconveniences that come with it.
@@CKidM a Laz-E Boy Executive Chair from Costco and so far it’s been holding up quite fine with lumbar support and all. Won’t be letting that one go anytime soon but I did promise myself that when I was ready for a change, I’d probably dabble in the higher end brands to see what the hype was all about.
Get the Herman Miller Embody Chair
Nah I had that one too. That one was worse than the Aeron. I would choose Aeron over the Embody

this $1,000 chairs are so ridiculous to me. i tried the Aeron, a family member of mine has it. i get more comfort on my $200 Ikea office chair i got from a neighbor for free. i place a small pillow behind my back and i can stay on this chair for 16 hours a day. the only benefit i saw with the Aeron is that is it a very quiet chair. my Ikea chair squeaks whenever i shift my weight around on it while sitting
I know you're looking for a new chair, but if the aeron was good for 2 years, you could just replace the mesh.
That "dust" isn't dust, it's your pants. The mesh is acting like a cheese grate, on your butt.

@@Frank7G lol...yea I know but bruh I can't do the cheaper end chairs anymore like the Amazon basic joints and SecretLabs...those will have you in the hospital with crazy bills more than what that new chair I'm considering cost.

Its not designed for comfortability. Its an ergonomic chair for long sitting hours that is what its designed for. Just call customer support get a brand new one and you have the warranty to send it back for a new chair if the chair is sagging. I use this chair 8-12 hours a day and I work remote.
