2012 Halloween Light Show - Gangnam Style

Over 8,500 lights and roughly 250 channels of computer animation.
Special thanks to Kevin Judd for the inspiration. This is a hobby and the display has been in the making for about year. The Gangnam Style video was a last minute addition made possible by a LightOrama forum member, Torqumada286, who graciously shared the lead singer's mouth/vocal programming sequence with me. I tweaked it some,added the back up singers, and sequenced the rest of the house and yard props myself.
Unfortunately we don't have exclusive rights to the "syndication Option" on CZcams and therefore can't enable mobile viewing. This is due to copyright claim, content id match or licensed music being contained in CZcams postings.

This song was made for Halloween! The best house light show ever!
The music is broadcast over a very low power FM transmitter (FCC Part 15 certified) fed from the show computer's audio jack. No music plays outside the house. Viewers tune in their car stereos and listen to the music within their car while watching. It was usually pretty quiet outside. This keeps the neighbors happy.

I guess that would explain why so many people didn't stop to watch it. They were all on their way to work. It took me the 2nd time watching this, to realize it was done in the morning. Love the effects! Very sick!
I passed this house everyday since I live in the same neighbourhood and I gotta say the guy that did this goes all out every christmas and halloween. So props to this guy. Coming back home from classes at 10 pm there were cars parked outside his house and people just watching and smiling. I look forward to seeing what he does this christmas.

Nobody complains about this because the music is transmitted through radio, not through actual speakers outside the house, so there's no noise :P

2019 to 2020 and still my fav Halloween house illumination. I love how you can see the dawn of the day slowly lighting the ground, and the video brings back good memories.
His Party Rock version last year was a hoot, pardon the pun. Always fun to watch. Never disappoints. Can't wait until next year.

saw a sliver of this online from the Today show, luckily found the youtube video because i wanted to see the whole thing. it is masterful! i love the back-up singers. some people have great senses of humor. i hope the neighbors are good with it, but it's not as bad as a lot of christmas displays that aren't even entertaining.
i can't believe so many people gave this a thumbs down! what is wrong with them, if they are done with Gangnam, then don't watch this. no one's holding a gun to your head.
