the voice is breathtaking.... so innocent... and soft like summer rain.
and the lyrics: ingenious. i like the part when he is like "roooohwiuuduf" and then" raaaooooooraroghoroo" just beautiful
Funny, but I hope that wasn't hateful sarcasm...
Lmao
Robert Stan judging by his name i seriously doubt it
Phlegeton voice is unique and amazing
@@robertstan298 no : )
perfect dead space soundtrack
The remaster is coming out !
Love their approach to the whole space theme, whereas Obscura brings to mind the beauty and wonder of the universe (celestial clouds, nebulae, etc.), Wormed is more of the suffocating, cold, and scary part of the universe (rogue black holes, galactic cannibalism, red giants, etc.).
dude yes. well said.
thanks dude.
For all of you that dig space/technical/death metal, I strongly encourage you to check out Artificial Brain. You can stream "Labyrinth Constellation" on Profound Lore's Bandcamp, and there's also an awesome live performance here on CZcams on Frank Huang's page. Just search.
Transmortify The clean 7ths really reminds me of Absorbing Black Ignition from "Labyrinth Constellation", but I only just discovered Wormed. I prefer them to AB personally, but both are great albums!
Paul Barnes I hear it, too! The new Revocation also has some riffs reminiscent of AB, maybe Dan Gargiulo had some ideas leftover from "Labyrinth Constellation". I can't really say who I'd prefer though, being that I have only listened to "Exodromos" (too busy with other albums to check out their older material), and "Labyrinth..." being AB's debut. I think both bands have evolved my idea of what death metal could be, and like you said both are killer albums!
This is one of the best songs I've heard in my life
Using that major 7th chord in a brutal death metal song was a stroke of genius. It really helps this song sound different from everything else.
definitely, not to mention the pinch harmonics afterwards, and then that fucking riff after it at 2:22, fucking amazing
napalm death and emperor used major 7th chords on their music and gorguts used quartal harmony on their obscura álbum :)
Check out Golem - Dreamweaver if you want some really interesting/dissonant chord genius.
I can't believe I used to hate these guys. This is personally one of my favorite bands at the moment. Every member shines in their own, personal way, from the lightning fast drummer to that genius vocalist they prove that they are all indeed extremely talented.
+Mercenary Chief
I used to think this was bullshit, now I can't stop listening to them! They don't sound like anyone else in the Brutal Death world, that only shows that Wormed come from fucking space \m/
Mercenary Chief yeah i generally dislike tbdm but these guys are really unique and intriguing i really love krighsu
Totally agree with comment.
@@maurismind true.
yep, this and analepsy.. only brutal death I love
Slam vocals with tech-death instruments. Very cool.
I can listen to this guy sing all day.
Beautiful voice
the production is perfect. brutal, yet very clear. i'd really wonder what defeated sanity DI's would sound like produced like this!
I like to sip a Groth Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and taste Gorau Glas whilst listening to this classic.
Elegant sir
I still listen to this album every week since it came out, just amazing.
wormed, gorguts, gigan, ulcerate, sunless what else you can ask for,??
artificial brain
Nightmarer
I've waited so many years for this album It's hard to believe its better than imagined!!
Still blasting this masterpiece until this day
The major 7th clean(ish) part really compliments the whole song. It's not out of place, yet not brutal, it seems ambient which matches their space/scifi theme (to me at least)
I just rediscovered this band after years through a comment thread... The instrumental is phebomenal but the guttural vocals, I wasn't so sure, cause I usually dislike them. But I think I'm getting to like them. They are quite unique, and while part of me wished for "cleaner" growls/screams I guess the band would loose part of its uniqueness.
+Tosca Dacuino tbh I'm not a big fan of the vocals. Not because they're too heavy but it's the stereotypical brutal death metal growl that every, mostly generic, brutal death/slam band uses. Otherwise it's incredible
+vZZenn they would benefit from extra vocal variety no doubt. But they do some killer music!
♡ Kleinr Schmetterling ♡ (Liberty Schulz) I personally appreciate the high notes, which make him sound like a robot gone crazy.
Holy shit, this be some crazy sci fi gold this.
The more you listen to it, the more the production is awesome. Keep listening, just like their first album, it keeps getting better.
does anyone else think the vocals sound like the suction tool from the dentist....
+HashshashinTaco XD omg
+HashshashinTaco Nope
HashshashinTaco sounds like really bad, worn out speakers to me.
It sounds just like my sink at home
I usually don't like brutal death that much... but this is amazing !
Wormed 4 life
Fair enough.And thank you.
omg this is straight what kind of music i like . . . . MELOTEKDEATH !!!! brutal, sad, high level of musicians . . . . . . .
Check out the info section - the band did it themselves! Phlegeton (VOX) is listed as the director.
Killer video, even more killer song! Just bought the physical CD over bandcamp a while ago! Stoked on it, and haven't been able to stop listening to it since!
my new favorite band :3
Those arpeggio chords make me tingle.
Too brutal, in a good way.
Of all the releases this year Exodromos and Portals To Canaan (Deeds of Flesh) are my favorite albums so far. So fucking amazing
one of the best albums of 2013
One of the best albums this year!!!
Zarąbiste
BEST ALBUM OF 2013 SO FAR. WOMED RULES!!
Yes
AMAZING ! those riffs, as usual with Wormed, are just great... one of the best death metal band in the nowaday scene.
the best of best
WORMED for life
They are from Spain?!!!!!
Madrid
I just got a review of this album up. Needless to say it is my favourite technical death metal release of 2013 so far.
real pure sick slam
Disculpa esto no es slam😢
Totally Awesome. Great band. Good work guys. I'm liking lots.
im the only one who thinks its kind of melodic?
I thought the same thing myself
it is melodik . . . . . weird melodies but yes !!!!
i love the break at 1:25. chills. (you can hear it hinted at about ten seconds earlier)
absolutely . you can sing their melodies and they get stuck in your brain thats a good quality imo .
ofcourse! also you may whistle, dance and sing along. it's a happy song.
The instrumental portion of the song shows some skills. The vocals blow. I mean come on, really? Why the hell would the other guys in the band think to themselves “ wow! This guy can sing!”
When I first heard this I thought it was a joke.... Maybe I’m getting old.
Just a matter of taste my friend, I fucking love those vocals in technical death metal
that major chord there...ethereal spacey melody. do it more often phleg please :)
sick combination of riffs... just insane
the new album is fucking SICK!!!!!
Impresionante, chavales! Chicos, enhorabuena. Estáis marcando la diferencia.
great .... !!!!
Brutal!
So hard to believe that this album is about to be 10 years old soon!! Like SH@#$ I'm old!! Haha
safe to say Elicit The Demisphere wouldn't be where we are today if it weren't for these guys. Keep it brutal.
MATHS
SICK!!
WORMED MUSIC VIDEO FROM NEW 2013 ALBUM?!!
Favorited...
Simplemete Brutal! WORMED rules.
Great band, amazing, congratulations Wormed!!!!,
Kings of metal
Horns High All Hail Wormed! Brutal as Fuck!
This is already fucking great and it's my first time hearing Wormed. Probably because I've listened to grindcore before.
This is pretty enjoyable. I'll have to hear the whole album - production is a little too clean for my tastes but the music is great!
Actually this might be one of the few cases where a band takes a large period of time between releases and manages to not suck complete ass upon their return. Good on Wormed.
Amazing song.
The vocals remind me of Cerebral Bore. I like it.
sick!
Impresionante. Saludos.
Mister jagger temazoo
Es esta con la que ha salido?
Si
Buenardo
I fucking love it this band, awsome, everything is perfect...eargasm!!!
come see wormed tonight live at the meatlocker in montclair nj !
ohohoh, that's insane
this is amazing.
These fucking vocals!!! I love them!!
lol this shit massages me when my back hurts ..
Nice!
Somebody suggested this band because I told him I liked metal with a storyline. I love how the singer is named after my favorite part of Hell, but I prefer softer metal like Rhapsody Of Fire.
Already bought the album: FUCKING AMAZING AND BRUTAL!
Probably will be the best brutal death album of 2013.
Awesome!
Hell yeaaaaaah!!!! Best brutal death metal band forever! Krigshu!!!!!!!!
Great!
best death metal band ever
woow
Fucking amazing!!
FUCKING AWESOME
Excelente no hay palabras
Good stuff!
tremendazo como siempre
Physics!
I knew that riff sounded familiar!
Fucking amazing! Gotta love science-fiction with brutal death metal!
Great video brothers !!! \m/
I hear Tunnel Of Ions at 1:10-1:23 except the slight changes of beat
Que sorpresa más agradable. Seguidamente de ver esto encargué exodromos. Sois la polla!
These guys remind me a lot of Terminally, Your Aborted Ghost.
Fucking rad.
They write the lyrics after they make the song.
And?
Do vocals have to have lyrics? Can't a voice just be a percussion instrument?
Lopt The Treacherous exactly!!! Yes to me voice is just another instrument...
Excelentemente brutal!
gruuuuuuuuiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
goddamn this is intense as ever!
All you need is wormed, meshuggah and dahlia. Maybe some etid. And done old school stuff thrown in
