Give it two weeks after the arena season ends and the first part of the prepatch will go live. That's my guess.
Also, we definitely are not going to be getting pre-nerf heroics. They hardly have the time to revert them to pre-nerf after making sure they work in the first place. They also don't want to scare away the majortiy of the player base which is absolutely horrible at the game and will quit (like they did back during actual cata) when they can't even do the heroics.

Wanted to comment on snap-shotting -
I'm like 99.99999% sure that snap-shotting is still a gameable concept all the way until WOD pre-patch. IIRC, fury warriors for example used, to quote PreachGaming, "a clown suit" to proc a bunch of stats pre-pull, swap back to their correct set, and then be "gods" for the first like 20 seconds of a fight.
I know for a fact that demo lock is a big math problem, and affliction becomes un-fucking-stoppable in MOP due to snapshotting with stuff like the ToT trinket that becomes BIS until the end of MOP.
Yeah WoD is when they started updating dynamically, with a handful of exceptions; I think a couple of spells still snapshotted iirc
im just now finding out the reason i couldn’t figure out what level my guild is was because they removed that feature lol. i was so confused.

No because the goggles have no stats. The cogwheels are the stats, and they are equivalent to other items of the same ilvl. Aka you will get tier head for set bonuses when u can
can't believe you didnt mention fire mage for the parasites, was absolutely the best for it back in the day

On your guys take on PTR for heroics, I really hope they don't PTR. I feel like they don't actually fix most of the bugs from the raids besides extremely obvious ones that make a boss unkillable or you can't zone into ICC and it just sits up for a month for guild's to speed run practice or prog before the actual content is released.
you could potentially stack up on Wintergrasp marks of commedation. Right now in wotlk and have all cata justice points gear needed
Meanwhile you still gonna need to do duengons for rep, it's a nice way of getting alts geared.
they will give 150 honor in cataclysm.
for 350 honor you can get 250 justice points.
so for 90 stonekeeper shards you get 450 honor.
90 stonekeeper shards is 22,5 rounded up 23 bosses.
for 23 bosses you are getting 250 extra justice points and this Can GO Above 4k CAP.
assuming we get the honor to justice point converter.
I read all your honor will be automatically converted to gold and you will find it in your mailbox. No option to save or convert it.
It's a really good thought mate and something i've looked at extensively with the stream and the odd thing is most people assume its going to be 150 because thats what it shows in the database and on wowpedia but that's not actually what they were giving in cata, they were only giving 50.
You can use this calculator and when you put in 30 stone keeper shards it shows 48, they changed it to 50 per commendation to be in line with the amount the stone keeper shards provided. ( www.mmo-champion.com/content/1971-Cataclysm-Currency-and-Honor-Calculator?page=10)
(Minor edit on the above, the calculator doesn't work accurately for PvE)
Don't get me wrong though, we could end up with them giving 150 like it would seem if you go from the game files but it would literally be worth triple the value of the shards which would be weird tbh. Sorry for a really long reply lol just wanted to give as much info as possible and with all that said and done, i will still be stacking up on these in the hopes they give 150 because with the guild perk its actually like 176 (ish) which i've personally tested on the BETA.

I would like to know the point of all the remakes . What is the end goal? Are we going to see a different direction to a new game instead of retail or is it just remakes . I mused don’t play retail an would very much like for them to go in a better direction and bring back that wow feeling that classic gives

@@Scottejaye this could be me learning CZcams a bit then, since I’m watching it 2 weeks after recording- is there no way for a creator to add timestamps retroactively? I get what you’re saying- it was live, then boom it’s online… and that may just be a limitation. At the end of the day I want to be able to watch all your content, but be able to focus certain pieces when it’s super long. For example your multi-hour with Subtle had TONS of great info- but it took 2 days to watch it all 😂

Yea i get it mate don't worry. If I'm completely honest, yes i absolutely could sit through it and add time stamps when it finishes but as you can imagine it would be ridiculously time consuming when we are doing 2-3 podcasts a week and trying to do videos and stream at the same time. We have moved to a more rigid structure for future podcasts though where there is actually 5 sections - 1) Intro 2) News 3) Viewer submitted questions 4) Class of the week 5) Talking topic of the week, so what i can try to do is while we are live make a note of how long into the vod we move on to each section, then add them after the stream has finished. I am saying I WILL TRY though its not a promise lol because if i get carried away with conversation i might forget to note down a section or 2 before i get into the habit.

It's because I really don't know that much at all about Cata so I asked a lot of questions for Scotte and Mijae to answer for myself and everyone watching to know the proper info. I learned a lot from this and hope people that tuned in did too.

@54:30 Yeah no way in hell i think they should lower ilvl requrements for heroics. We literally have lived through that in wrath with gammas and betas........ you get a whole group of 3.8k gs people trying to do a gamma.....you cant even kill, the first mob group, tank curses you out and then everyone leaves.....yeah id prefer to not do that again.
Still not talking about how to get bis gear lol, but beta and ptr, and all the stuff you keep saying you don't wanna talk about, lmao
