The girl who played Beth (Keeley Marie Gallagher) was on a short lived tv series called Family Man with Richard Libertini, Mimi Kennedy, Alison Sweeney and Whit Hertford (Walter from Full House)! Her last role was a girl who drowned (who’s character’s name was also Beth) in Mikey with Whit and Brian Bonsall (Andy from Family Ties)! I’ve looked her up on Facebook and now she’s a married woman with four children!
That scene at about 28:55 was realistic. Even children much older than Justin have trouble changing the pronouns in a dependent clause. I knew a teacher who asked a child to "go to Mrs. Smith's room and ask her if she could lend me her stapler." The child arrived in Mrs. Smith's classroom all tongue-tied.
