You Andy, my good sir simply put the word "fun" in guitar, been learning guitar for nearly a year now and am very glad your videos were the 1st result since day 1.
I began my guitar journey around 20 years ago. Pre-CZcams, finding a decent guitar tutor was hard, time-consuming and demoralising. Now, thanks to Andy Guitar amongst others, I can play a number of songs and all the basic open chords. Things change.
I also think if more guitars were better setup then more may continue. I've setup all my guitars and it makes the world of difference. That said, you Andy made the world of difference for me. Just the way you taught me the basics worked well for me.
Your patience and encouragement is exactly what I need, Andy. I'm one week new and have been working on memorizing the A and E cords with smooth transition and no buzz. Four, maybe five 10 minute lessons a day is about all my fingers can stand but gaining improvement every day. Thank you so much.

I am 45 I bought a classic guitars when I was 19. I ve learned solfedge. So never with number but notes. The reason I gave up very quickly its was the lack of practice between the lesson. I ve learn to read a pation, I know where they are but I still have my guitars. I safe 2 year fir it. Amd one day I ll get back to it

Found this tutorial and it is perfect for me at this stage: appreciating speed of play, ease of chord shapes and movement between chords. Pace of the tutorial, repetition of key principles, and singing really helps to understand how speed of the strumming differs. 😊

Stil learning andy im a yr in from knowing nothing and im 47 now,and i can play a few bits,but i used A suss chord in songs but only coz it sounded right and now i know the name of it,thanks andy for all the help and advice the past yr,being 47 now a yr in i stilljust grab my guitar and strum chords,not from a song just toget better and fluent in changes,great video andy

Besides, I think that u hv only shown the demo of these songs and in reality I think that these songs contain both these chords and many other chords. Am I right Andy??
