Просто спасибо
I shared your video by the way. Lots of love and hugs.
thank you :)
such beautiful artwork
😊:)) thank you.
Lovely
We color eggs also. We use beet juice, cherry fruit, and more to many different colors.
We also have the shrink-wrap way to decorate as well. I do not do that, I like to just color the eggs. Of course first I boil the eggs and then color them after cooling.
😊:)
Thanks for your beautiful and interesting video!
Nice video as well. I didn't know about using onion skins to decorate eater eggs. Thank you for the information and the video.
😊: )
Happy Easter Valarie. Beautiful eggs for the Easter Celebration!!!!
😊: ) thank you Will . Happy Easter to all family from me
Next year I will be using onion skins to make red eggs! I wonder where in the states you can but those religious wrappers for the eggs, neat idea.
😊: )
Just want to say Happy Easter to you again, Valeria, and thank you for this very interesting video about how to decorate Easter eggs.
😊:) thank you. Happy Easter! Do you also decorate Easter eggs the same way?
No, I never did the decoration myself, but from your video, I know how to do it now. Thank you very much, Valeria.
Timely suggestion by the algorithm, showing me this on Easter weekend. Your videos are awesome Valeria and I learn a lot from them. Happy Easter.
Happy Easter!
BEAUTIFUL!!!
What a beautiful tradition.....
Thankyou! Love this!
Моя бабушка из Твери использовала традиционный метод украшения пасхальных яиц.
😊: )
beautiful decoration.
My mother gave me an egg ornament just like the fabric print.
I found it again 2 days ago when spring cleaning.
Fascinating video. The plastic sleeves you used are so much prettier than the one we have in the United States. Ours are decorated with TV characters and simple cartoon drawings are are never as fancy and lovely as yours.
I agree, the sleeves Valeria used are beautiful. Ours are so commercial. It is nice to see that they stay pretty traditional with their holidays.
interested in these colorful egg wraps!
I did this once with parsley and carrot tops and beets will color the eggs too. I loved the deep rich brown of the onion skins.
I was amazed by the color made with the onion skins! The color was beautiful. I think I might try that next year, my grandchildren would absolutely love to try this. Happy Easter to you and your family. 😁
Happy Easter! (Alex)
Stunning eggs! Beautiful! I would love to see your wooden eggs too.
Very informative.Thank You.
😊:)
this is the same as in Romania. I remember as a child that my grandma was colouring eggs in onion leaves
😊: )
Wonderful
😊:) thank you
I love this video. One of my favorites from your channel.
I'm curious as to what the large red X and B on the church stand for. Also, nice colouring techinique for the eggs. : )
that means Христос Воскресе (Christ is Risen) Х B - are the first letters. You may see these letters everywhere (cakes, eggs, cards...)
Hi from America, Northwest Indiana near Chicago to be exact. Being half Greek, I attend an Orthodox church which sell egg dye throughout Lent so parishioners have it on hand for Pascha. It has confusing directions, clumsily translated from Greek to English and people report poor results ... pale pink or orange eggs (OK if that's what they want) but not the rich ruby red that symbolizes the Blood of Christ. I will tell people about this useful and practical method from Russia!
Thank you so much! Spasiba!
I LOVE YOUR EASTER EGGS.
I loved this video with the traditional Easter eggs. Years ago, I took a class on how to decorate traditional Easter Eggs with patterns using beeswax and dye. I think they're called Pysanky. I made two eggs and it was very tedious work but very enjoyable. I'm enjoying all of your videos about Russia. Russia seems like a very nice place to visit. :)
thank you Michelle :) yes. it is the right name and it is realy a time-consuming process, but usually the result is great !
Thank you for showing all your wonderfull Easter activities.
😊: ) thank you Patricia
In Canada we have these modern plastic covers for eggs also. We usually put them in the oven on a low temperature for a few seconds.
😊: )
very nice, subbed.
😊:)
I am so excited to see Pantocrator and the Theotokos honoured in Russia once more. thank you for this videos.

Thank you so much for the wonderful ideas and amazing videos!
Thank you for this video, you have the most amazing way of showing things that are knowledge in your community that i have never seen before but will add a lot to Easter Celebrations next year.
Keep up the great work Valerya. I still love your videos after all this time. .....Love from Canada...Bradley
😊: ) thank you
I really enjoyed this video. I also did not know you could boil the onion skins for dying. Also I really want some of these plastic decorations traditional decorations. I have never decorated eggs this way. What do Russians do with the eggs after decorating them? Do they hide them for the children to hunt them, like they do in the U.S.? Thank you for sharing this! Please share your collection of your eggs and the painted wooden ones. (I am still planning on visiting Russia in August) :)
I will tell about eggs in the next video :)
Thank you, I look forward to your next video.
hello this was really good thank you.
The outer layer of onion is called onion peels. :)
😊: ) thank you
cool
Beautiful! Enjoyed this very much. Happy Easter to you sister in Christ!
Whoa! Interesting!! Can you eat the egg after putting the paper? I know the purpose is decoration but can you peel the egg and eat after that? This video is cool because shows something about your culture, for me it's impressive.
Yes, it just goes away with the eggshell.
English is my second language after German, but I think the outer layer is called 'onion skin'........will I get a better result with red onions, or does the colour of the onion not make a difference?
thank you for your info:) You will get different (but not very much) result with red onions. People do not often use red onion skins here, because red onion is expensive
It’s January 2023. It would be wonderful if Russians could enjoy this kind of life again.
Lovely video. I would love to see your egg collection!!!!! I love Fabregé eggs!
😊: ) thank you Angie
What about beet peel?.... that would be pretty pink.
Where can you buy the plastic covers? In the United States? Online?
Its nice,,,,
😊:) thank you
Do red onions make a differant color?
yes;) Different but not very much. People do not often use red onion skins here, because red onion is expensive
ONION LEAVES in English is ONION SKINS........
😊:) ok. thank you for help
This comment is for the CZcams-robots! :D No, it's to thank you for the very interesting video! :)
😊:) thank you Marco ;D
hi
I wish we could have gone to a shop like you showed when we were in St. Petersburg. Instead, we were taken to a "tourist" shop selling cheap Chinese cr@p. :(
😊: )"tourist" shops are the same in any country :) cheap Chinese cr@p. :(
Beautiful! About the onions leaves, some people call them "skins". I don't think there is any rule, at least to knowledge.
Unrelated question: Do you have to pay "Income Tax" in the Russian Federation. In the US it is "tax season" and I'm very upset with the politicians in Washington DC. Our Income Tax documents are ridiculous!
Personal income tax rate in 2017 from a non-resident/resident. Often residents ' income tax rate of 13% and non - residents- 30%.
However, during the year the employee's tax status may change. When a non-resident becomes a resident, tax is required to charge in accordance with a rate of 13 percent. It is important to note that tax status should be specified in the mandatory year-end and, if necessary, to recalculate personal income tax at the appropriate rate.
Oka rus Thanks, it sounds like flat tax rate with few loop holes, if any.
Oka rus Thanks, it sounds like flat tax rate with few loop holes, if any.
Fred, a non-resident pays taxes in two cases only. First, he has an income in Russia. Second, when foreigner is the owner of real estate and motor transport.
The non-resident status is the key point. Long-term residence in Russia requires either the temporary permission to reside, or residence permit.
Do russian paint eggs for Radonitsa?
no, only for Easter
Keyword russian!
I thought you are going to do traditional youtube egg decoration...
first step, order parts for little egg robot printer... lol..(it was all the craze in youtube few years back, building egg decoration printer-robot.)

😊:)
