The Inverness area has a lot slough and marshland. Potts Preserve, Flying Eagle. Airboats all over the place. More than regular boats. Great job. Lots of man hours. I would keep it. It's a one of a kind.
Further down south, but West Melbourne is also good air boating.

Great build. Sure is nice to finally take the boat on water after working on it a while. I got a project boat (Carolina Skiff) last year with a good Yamaha, it was way worth it in the end once it’s done.
When I first saw that boat I thought “well compared to his other projects, this should be an easy quick flip. Nothing to it”.... boy was I wrong !! Lol
She came out awesome for sure !! I hope she delivers a good ROI but if nothing else you learned a lot !

Great job, fun to see the boat on the water again. These boats were really designed to run best with 1 person....small, light, little engine, good fuel economy, and will run dry as long as you don't stop....lol. I am curious how she runs with that new prop as the originals were part of the "recipe". Great boat though, glad you took the time to revive her.
