When I sailed over to Gozo, during one of our stays from Denmark, I noticed that the Ferry we used was a former Danish built ferry, from a now closed shipyard in Elsinore (Known from Shakespeares well known Play: Hamlet!). I think they now have been replaced with newer ones. Finn. Denmark
we still have that boat its very old and need replacing
@@EnglishmaninMalta Even though we became known for building very fine ships, they will need replacement at a time! One of the former Drydocks in the Yard has been turned into a Maritime Museum, round the dock and below the ground, not to disturb the view to Kronborg Slot (Elsinore Castle), by a rather famous Danish and International Architect: Bjarke Ingels (BIG Group)!
As named it was also a Danish Architect and Professor, Hans Munk Hansen, that designed and built the Danish Mellieha Vacation Area - and the set for the Popeye Movie! He, though now late, became a lowed guest during the years after, and has got his own Memorial Plate at the entrance, to the side of the "Official Plate" for its built by now two Maltese Presidents!
He had his final version Test House as his, during his stays! The first one built, became modified to the final version also. They have all been built from Maltese Chalkstones and their design is inspired by local buildings. It was a wish that it should create Maltese workplaces, and the "Danish Design Kitchens" and Furniture became produced on Malta, with former Danish Machines!
Eventually worth a visit? Though a Private Area, I'm sure You will be allowed in, if asking?
It has been later more extended to both sides and now is a very large Village Like area up the hill in the back and it is also a large Maltese Workplace for being kept tidy and the houses being constantly repaired from usual wear. Finn. Denmark

Hi steve beautiful farm house mate.Like I've said before we would love to stay in Gozo.That loves a lovely area but we fancy xdenil bay i know thats spelled wrong mate.St.Paatricks hotel look lovely sunrise and sunsets .Dont know if you have been to that part of Gozo steve .Good video mate 👍👍
