I will say rosseta is a safest choice for 2nd ticket , since she got Ascension make her can keep up with bianca on physical team
2nd will be luna , the fact that she got those mini da vinci x hanna effect on her just like newer unit make her probably still have so time
and that leave plume as the last , many veteran speculate the newest S rank after this which most likely echo will replace her as ice attacker since when we fight her ,she kinda look like using some kind of ice combine with light element
I'm thinking of pulling Liv since I'm targeting bianca abystigmata and I already have rosseta, but I also don't have an ice dps and yet I really love bianca so I'm kinda torn 😂
We can pick Rosseta later with another S rank Selector Ticket when Physical Bianca patch release (Around September), so I would recommend skipping Rosseta now (Because even if you pick Rosseta, If you don't have a Physical Attacker, your Physical team won't do much damage anyway)
So Plume / Luna would be the best choice atm, who should you pick is based on your account and interest.
Ice team need to rotate a lots, so You need both Chrome and Plume to smoothly playing this comp.
Dark team on the other hand, if you have Luna, she can do fine on her own, you just need a Dark Tank and Dark Support to use as a QTE bot.
But there is a catch:
You can build a budget Dark Team with Astral / XII 21 / Vera.
But you can't build a budget Ice Team, because there isn't an Ice Attacker yet.
Take all that into account before select your S rank construct.

@@DMsCloud7 This. Like I said in another post, Echo is _very_ far away, and you don't want to be missing an element for 1.5 years, if not several months to the next ice attacker in Bambinata. There is a viable alternative for Luna in Astral, there is a selector you can use on Rose when Bianca drops, but there is simply no alternative for Plume in the near future.
(Edit: Echo is confirmed a phy amp now and not an ice attacker. Plume remains relevant even longer.)
@@shyc6610 can run wanshi with zu set and an amp if you don't want to build changyu. Copium, but better than no ice at all for wz/ppc/norman/babel. You really lose a lot off-element, even with palefire Lee + empy and a QTE bot pre-nanamech's release, I was doing comparable if not faster kills against ultimate Gabriel than SSS Nier.
I am a returning player too , I think i stoped around Fake Ascension . In the first S rank selectoor I took Kamui - Tenebrion, so got the dark tank ,and I got Vera: Rozen from the banner , so I am thinking to go with Luna: Laurel to complete dark team . I was thinking Lucia: Plume , But when he said coomplete a team then move to other it made me clear to choose who . Thanks man
This was my first team as a newwe player. About a month in now. Got Vera: Rozen from the Basic banner, got Luna from my first 40 pulls, then used my selector on Kamui. Kinda lucked out on Luna in my first 40. I need to get more investment in her.

Is what still going on? All the stuff I mentioned was basic starter stuff. You should start the game with an S selector, and starting out the basic banner gives you as S rank and 40 pulls instead of 60.

That's for meta tho, I'd say alpha, plume, and rosetta (in order) are the funnest on the picker
These selectors as a new player are a pretty easy choice for me tbh.
I'll pick Luna for the first one to get a dark team that still doesn't have a replacement even after 1 year from now, pick up Rosetta when Bianca Abystigma comes out for a strong physical team, then pick up Vera Garnet when Lucia Crimson Weave comes out for a strong lightning team (I will probably skip Lucia CW though since I really want to use Noctis instead even if it's worse because he seems like so much fun, it'll also give me some room to get 21 Feral Scent).
This does mean that my ice team is pretty cope and I'm basically waiting for the free ice units they give way down the line buttttttttttttttt I'm still getting 3 teams built up guaranteed that are pretty strong so good enough for me. (I got lucky and pulled Empyrea from my 40 pity free pulls plus went to pity to get Nanami Mech so my fire team is set once Hyperreal comes) Hopefully I get lucky and pull Glory from the free pulls is the most I can hope for in terms of the ice team, I guess.
Thank you for the video, returning player here that lost my account and I was so lost on which to prioritize right now on my S rank selector. I got lucky to get Rosetta on my 40 pulls at the beginner thing and picked Liv Luminance on the beginner selector. I was gonna pick Alpha given how great she was on the first few patches(I played up until the Luna patch) but given that there's a new one coming in a few patches I'll just hold on and pick Plume instead for diversity as i can probably make a case on a dark team with the A ranks for now until the next Selector.
Alpha will eventually be added to the voucher shop so you’ll be able to farm her for free.
I was originally looking for the beginner selector guide since i started playing after the pc release so this video helps me a lot
TBH, both Alpha and Bianca are so much fun to play. Yeah, they will be powercrept by their counterpart versions, but in the end, what's the point in meta if you aren't having fun in the process?
I'm a global day 1 player, so i have the luxury of saving for both Crimson Weave Alpha and Bianca Abystigma (currently skiping nanami to save for both Bianca's and her signature). But i would totally recommend either base Alpha and Bianca, heck, Alpha was the reason i started this game even before global launch.
Lastly, i will probably choose Plume, since i already have physical covered by having Rosetta/Alpha at SS and Nier Team with SS A2 carry style, and lightning covered with SS Bianca/ SS Vera.
I started for Luna,but i haven't got her yet,i never wanted Alpha but i have her SS because my standard pity gave me Alpha two times

Pulled Luna from the 40 pity on the standard banner, i used my basic selector on liv instead of tenebrion cause im using no21 plus the next character to come out is a dark tank afaik. im thinking of choosing Plume in this selector just to start making an ice team, if i had pulled alpha tho i would go for rosetta for sure. I know a lot of people are saying Luna or Rosetta, but like, I don’t have a current ice-dps, I literally have plume’s gear and I would find it a big loss if I chose someone else, so I’m easily going for Plume
Plume will get semi replaced by Alya amp (whose free) later this year. It's still your choice tho
Not to mention we still don't know who the upcoming CN unit is, could be a plume replacement for real

At base S she is. However is u get both of them to SS kamui becomes better for dark resistance shred. Basically having kamui means you can skip Karenina day break who needs to be SS3 to actually outdo kamui at SS0

ill share my own opinion on this esp luna since shes kinda not a new player construct and to maximize her dmg you should know when to all out on her once you activate her core passive since by far shes beside to ember being little to no defense(you will die instantly if you got combo by the mobs) second is alpha is still a safe choice the only thing that seperates her from balter(abysstigma) is she doesnt have time stop but she still has the dmg and shes worth to build especially if you love boss fights
Edit:safest pick will always be alpha since physical team can always be used everywhere in wz weathers

I'm newbie at this game, is it better to collect new character that complete role team or heavily invested in 1 character, example, Pulling CW up to SS or just 1 CW and wolf 21 ?
Pull 1 copy and make ss with pain cage skulls from shop. Don't pull twice is ss is your target. SS is basically free as you can farm skulls from ppc.

Simple , don't pick the top 5 one. get Liv Luminance from the pre-register selector as a healer
Then for the even get Lucia Lotus if you're new player since getting her memory and weapon is a bit easier than the rest.
Farm tons of black card without spending any then whenever there's a future event coming up use em for the new character.
You can really tell when the meta changes, because you read the description for a new character's basic attack, like Bianca Abystigma's, and it's a fucking bible.
A few weeks back I got alpha off pity from standard. Also I had an off rate copy of rosetta's weapon I've been holding onto, so my choice was pretty easy. I know have an okay physical team.
I took my last Luna copy so I can SSS her after farming 27 shard on pain cage shop since I already have SSS rozen and is waiting for karen dark so I can "complete" my dark team Luna all the way ^ ^

If your logic is they're both tanks...NO Rossetta completely blows Bastion out of the water it's not even funny. Plume is still a great pick but she's getting somewhat partially powercrept once Alya comes out. Thankfully we still have anniversary and a 2nd selector at Balter patch so if you want Plume now u can get her. But I highly advise getting Rossetta
Bruh, no. Rosetta gets special buffs against Alpha boss and is a much better tank than Bastion

I already decided on getting Luna Laurel. I already got a Double S rank Rosetta and a fully build No. 21 & Vera Rozen. I don't have anyone my ice team except for a slightly build Changyu.
The next s rank selectors are available in Bianca Abysstigma patch which is in September, so I'm pulling for Lucia Plume there. The other one of the s rank selectors is in February which is Alpha Crimson Weaver patch. The s rank selector on that patch includes Liv Empyrea, Selena Cappricio, and Chrome Glory. I'm getting chrome here for my ice team.

what characters does the Abystigmata patch give? I have the meta dark team already and 2 units ready in both future physical and lightning, I will be getting Hyperreal too so Empyrea is a need for me so will I get mechananami in either of the selectors?

I'm in a similar situation as u I have 5* weapon alpha with 6* memories and tenebrion with 4* weapon 6* memories, I'm gonna get luna from selector and Serena from the theatre to complete my dark team then pull on the new lightning character (alpha) as my dps
U can choose Luna now.
Skip Dark Karen banner. Use the BC to pull for Rossetta. Wait for balter patch use the selector to get Liv luminance

As a new player the first team that I decided to build is a dark team and I've XXI and Vera Rozen but i also have Watanabe Astral and with pulling I've obviously got a few more units and I pulled Changyu and Wanshi, my question would be if in my situation it would be better to choose Lucia Plume or just pick Luna?
I understand that you are a f2p so I want you to at least sSs+ your f2p A rank characters, so plume Lucia is a nice pick for you since she is still the main DPS on ice team till Ayla amp

I started a brand new account when pc client came out and I got Lucia Crimson abyss(lv74)she’s my most invested character 4 Patton lv45 and 2 Darwin lv40 6 star and the 5 star sword maxed out. Honestly depends on how you want to play the game. If you want to be competitive in Pain Cage and Warzone, one fully built DPS for each element and two semi built supports are required. In your case, since you already have Alpha and Veritas, I recommend you go for Plume (You already have Tenebrion; serviceable until you get Luna). Additionally, most of the supports for each team are farmable or will appear in future s rank selectors.

I got a new phone and thought I linked my account but I didn't. I wasn't far in the game at all, so I didn't care, but I'm glad I did cause I got crimson weave her 6 star weapon and cub in 24 pulls.

Started playing during the weekend and I've just been steamrolling all the content with only No. 21 and her playstyle is so flashy and fun. That's really all I care about.

I started the game at launch, got Alpha, S Bianca, Pulse and Katerina before i stopped playing.
So for me the two its between is Rosetta and Luna. I could grab Rosetta to complete my phys team now but I thibk building another dps will take me farther and I like Lunas gameplay. So that's probably where I'm going and Rosetta next ticket.

U can get Luna from this selector no problem, pull no 21 and Vera (A ranks should be easy)

Lucia Plume then, i have Chrome, so that makes the choice quite easy.
i dont pull the old character because i can guarantee SS rank every new character and the 5star wepon is grindable via coop i dont pull on the 6s wepon too just only the new character and the good thing is every year we have a S class char selector if you missed the character you want
One thing is iirc there's no A-rank alternative to Plume as of now. There's Bambina but she's after Bianca Abyss, where as Luna does have a A-rank alternative. So if you don't take Plume now you pretty much don't have an ice team until Novemeber

I have only around 11k BC, was planning on getting tenebrion for the longest because in PC n WZ is such a hassle without element def shreads, but the thing is Karenina Hammer is coming soon right? around 3 months? so what do u guys recommend? should I skip tenebrion n pull Karenina? if so I wanna save for Bianca Abysstigmata of course, she's a fine unit, need ur help
Your best bet is no 21 tbh. A rank easy to get and can be farmed to SSS+. Dark Karen is very investment heavy. If u pull her at base S rank she's nothing more than a QTE bot. In which case no 21 can easily do that. You're basically spending 15k BC for a QTE bot when we have a free one.
Heck even if u get kamui now and SS him through pain cage he outperform Dark Karen if both are SS.
Think about it this way skipping dark Karenina will leave you with an extra 15k BC for the future. You can even spend it on anniversary for a unit u don't have yet
I heard Karenina hammer is not good as a sub dps unless she has her weapon and SSS.If u have Tenebrion ,she doesn't matter, tank is tank,No,21 is also broken if u can farm for SSS+ which is I am doing currently.(I forgot,also the person above me is right,Kamui can outdmg her at same investment and he is kind of reliable too)

Echo is coming so i would skip plume. Its either luna or Rosetta. Personally, id pick Rosetta since i know for a fact im getting Abystigma, but u can't go wrong with Luna for now since we're getting another selector along with weapon selector in 4 months. Im picking Rosetta for both because i want her at sss for the 20% extra defense reduction
-Echo is a long time off though, so Plume will still be the ice attacker for the next 1.5 years.- Edit: Echo is now confirmed a phy amp so Plume stays relevant even longer. The A rank alternative in Bambinata will also come out later almost in 2024, so for several months there is just no ice alternative unlike Astral for dark (with Luna being much better of course). Rosetta is a good choice but there's another selector during Abystigma's patch... you might as well get her then if you don't have already own Alpha to use with her. Ultimately it's your choice, but if I'm a new player I don't know if I am willing to wait a year not having an ice team, especially considering the amount of Normans, Warzones and PPC you'd miss out on scoring on between now and then.
