there's 1 drawback to making crazy thumbnails for every project: once you look at all your projects on your "all projects" page, it tends to look like a mess of chaos (mine too). so i'm trying to vary the style of the thumbnails so that only the most important projects have the most highly detailed (and red-colored) thumbnails.

A tip for making good thumbnails is to add a white outline around the center of attraction in your thumbnail like this one in 0:56
