Months ago when this channel was first suggested I could have sworn that this was some sort of RC racing, now I know that thanks to gravity and chaos alone this is the best racing channel on ytube. Hail Eris.

@@INMATEofARKHAM stories vary but from a filming perspective I believe the building was just in the way of too much of the action around that turn.

Am I the only one who misses the McClyde era track?
I am not sure what years that was, 2021/2022 maybe?
This track is okay, and I guess it's better in some ways than just straights connected with 180 degree turns, but it just doesn't hit as hard as that track did. Maybe it's the urban vs. rural thing, my favorite real-life tracks are permanent courses out in a natural environment (Watkins Glen for example).

@4:27 the waivers were signed. It’s fine.
As pretty as the KotM track is, I wish it allowed for more overtakes. Most of the time you know the final outcome halfway through the race, unlike the other track where cars swap positions and crash all the way up to the finish line.
I think a good amount of overtakes happen on this track if one car is genuinely faster than another, but i agree that more overtakes would be more fun. Maybe make the track 33% longer to give more time to overtake?

In my opinion there's one thing KotM is missing that narrative that had at the beginning, creating legends like Stephen King, Crazy Jimmy, BA Dylan.
Production is superb, the passion and the quality, but missing the essence that made it the best diacast racing channel
I think that's because they are mainly "mail" tournament, where only a fraction of cars s modified by them, so if they do not rig anything and they actually make them race, obviously rarely there will be some kind of backstory to a legend
Don't forget Gab Formoso!!
@@untizioacaso1300 agreed. In an event this big, there's little chance for a backstory to develop for the majority of entrants. Also, you can't begin to have a legend build without consistent "WOW" moments and performance.
Sure, it feels different compared to the past. Not all the ways a channel evolves will please everyone. Just glad to be here for the ride
