  • This video provides a basic introduction into the SR latch circuit. This circuit is a sequential circuit that stores memory - the output of the circuit doesn't depend only on the current state of the inputs but on the past history of the circuit as well.

You might want to play with Minecraft. You can test logic circuits in-game. There are even Minecraft players building computers inside the Vanilla game, including 8-bit memory registers. It is kind of meh for professionals but you can do it as part of de-stressing from school/professional work.

Out of curiosity, why does this schematic use two (inverse) outputs? For the record, I have very little knowledge of logic circuits, but there are two things that make this choice seem odd, which is why I'm asking for clarification. First, you hinted at it, but you don't know for sure what the initial state is going to be since it depends on which NOR gate feedbacks into the other one first. Second, we only need one output to represent all possible states because having both outputs be 1 or 0 at the same time isn't possible.
I didn't come up with this myself but saw a picture online, which is why I looked for more infos on the SR Latch in the first place. But it basically showed the S input simply leading into an OR gate, which then split up into the output and the other feeding back. Let's call the feedback F because this is confusing to write in text. Then the R input feeds into a NOT gate, which goes into an AND gate together with F, and the result goes into the OR gate from before. From what I can tell this should always initialize with the output as a 0, and it latches and resets all the same.
I have absolutely no problem with the explanation or anything. It's very helpful. I just wonder why it uses this format for the output.

I believe that the >fear and greed index with a new low value of 6 reflects how the crypto market reacts to a full blown recession. Yes, there were crypto bear markets in the past, either caused by regular cycles or extraordinary events such as COVID, but we never experienced a true economical recession in the crypto market. Keep in mind that crypto market is just another financial market (meaning that is 100% dependent on major macro economic events) and is more volatile than other markets (which is a good thing, cause that offers long term opportunity to get rich in an extended timeframe meaning buying like crazy during these times and selling at the peak of the next bull market - whenever that may be). but the biggest, most "boring" coins right now (BTC, ETH, BNB) with big utility and market cap that will not go to 0 until the end of this bear market. I buy and just trade long term more than ever, I have made over 19btc from day trading with Jim Brin Crypto in few weeks this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish.
