I didn’t have a pallette as a choice for my boost. This month was probably one of my most disappointing boxes in a long time.

My box is lost. Ipsy tells me I have to wait until the 28th to even declare it lost. If I don’t get the Natasha Denona palette I added on I’m going to be HOTT! My box was going to be really good this month too.

I have tested it on two different accounts and what you select MATTERS.
I usually get a makeup heavy box. This month, I c😮hanged my preferences so I get more skincare since I feel like I would enjoy having more skincare.
I received the Fez palette this month which I adore as one of my Power Picks.
Yes I am like you I feel I would like to change it up and get skin care instead here and there too.. I have enough makeup lol
I received the palette and the lip balm. The other 3 were skin care products but I absolutely love getting skin care products.
They should add an option where you can skip the boost if there's nothing you like. It could credit you for next month. I've never been able to afford a single subscription box EVER, but I enjoy watching y'all opening them.
Good point about them putting more skincare due to retail value. The way to counteract that would be to put high-end makeup in the boxes instead. I ended up canceling my subscriptions. I want makeup not a lot of skincare. Thanks for showing both boxes.
Sister Vs. Sister is my fav! IMO if it's not a sheet mask I'm not using it...I hate the added wash off step. You should try Margot Elena!
I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who was disappointed! I had a lot of what you ladies did. Yes, it's nice skin care, but I continued "BoxyCharm" to get skincare and MAKEUP

Man it’s been a few weeks since I got mine and trying to remember what I got lol I usually bring in when hubby not home so he doesn’t say” aww you bought more makeup “😂😂
Reminds me of mine like all skin care. Like I picked sponges and ends up getting a lip and cheek stick. So that was annoying and I didn’t even get two of the add one I payed for so I had to reach out to Ipsy to get it fixed. I swear I have to contact them all the time. This was not a great start for my first box back after being paused for a few months. Oh and I’m still waiting for my glam bag to even be delivered!!!!!

I chose the serum too. I love vitamin A and C in my skincare. I only got one makeup-eye thing this time. I got a cream blush stick. Really pretty. I'm hoping the icon box will be better.

I didn't have a Natasha Denona as I choice for boost. But I did get the Rodial Dragons blood firming gel, which is 105 retail and I adore this product so I was thrilled with boost.
I got a Ciate pallette, and Keys sunscreen as power picks. I chhosevthe gold mask, skin inc serum, and a lucky chick cream stick blush. I felt like my box was goid thus month. I would have preferred the Byroe essence or Kat Burki primer instead of the sunscreen. Its my 3rd sunscreen this summer from Ipsy..
I was really disappointed with my box this month. I got the ugly broken Natasha denona fez pallet, the misho lip balm and then all my other stuff was skin care. I didn’t even have the choices for makeup when my profile specifically states that I want ALL MAKEUP. Plus my Fenty pallet add on was missing and they said they were out of stock and couldn’t replace it. So far the only good box I’ve gotten since I signed up 4 months ago was the ABH icon box but even in that one, my pallet was broken and then the replacement was broken. And every other month I’ve had broken and/or missing products and I’m getting way too much skin care. I already canceled the August icon box bc it looks like a dud. Hopefully the regular box for August will be good otherwise it will be the last box I get.

While they were nice boxes and nice name brands, I would’ve been disappointed also with not much makeup choices. This was such a skincare heavy month it seemed. I like good skincare but I also love my makeup. This is what makes me hesitant to sign back up with Ipsy. $30/mo is a lot of money! I want some nice name brand makeup in there too 😊
I luv when a box is strong skin care cuz we all nd it even if ur young start using early to( prevent #1 pervent is sunscreen ) id been excited to have these boxes.great video luv sisterly luv

Rachel, I have a brand new Santorini Grape Korres unopened, full size, box is sealed……..have not tried it yet…….Ladies, I received the same highlighter, haven’t tried it yet, I would like it better for my eyes as well…..and I would say that your bags are equal…

If I knew they’d offer the ND palette as the boost…I probably wouldn’t have skipped. I’d seen the spoilers and decided to skip this month. I like palettes
Hello beautiful ladies! I feel the same as you ladies. There was just too much skin care. And from the spoilers I have seen for next month for the boxycharm and icon box I am not excited. Again there is a lot of skin care. I’m overwhelmed with skin care in the last 4 months. I received some of the same items as you both have. Yes they are great products but I NEED more makeup choices! Thanks ladies ♥️
This months box was disappointing for me as well. The selections were not great. The boost was just ok. I ended up picking a first aid Beauty serum. Not terrible but not exciting. I had 3 makeup items in my box and all 3 items arrived broken this month. Next months icon box unfortunately looks like it will be skincare heavy as well. I was hoping for more makeup. Ipsy really has to do a better job at packing fragile items with more protection.
I only had one skincare product in my box this month (apart from boost) 😮
The JLo cream was very nice for the boost. Pallet was not a choice.

I chose the dragon blood sculpting gel for boost. Expensive item but the boost choices were meh
NO palette at all this month all skin care i choose the Jlo beauty face cream at 50 something price.
I choose the JLO Moisturizer too for my boost. I didn’t see the ND Palette or I would have chosen that???
I felt the exact same way it was so skincare heavy. I also received the Ahava 14k Good mask it’s kinda small, n they chose for me the Kate Sommerville Intense Exfoliator which I can’t even use for my skin type. I’m highly sensitive skin n very dry skin. Then they chose the Malin & Goetz Moisturizer. Not very exciting. I also chose the SKIN Inc Serum u guy’s picked. Lastly I wanted a makeup item so I chose the Lucky Chick cheek & lip balm! It’s pretty it has a swirl throughout it. It’s very light not heavy.,But nope they didn’t chose the Ciate London huge Eyeshadow Palette or the ND Fez Eyeshadow Palette I added that one on but of course like most everyone it came damaged :/ Also, added on the Laneige 3 set it’s really nice for $12 so worth it! N the Elf full size primer for $3.50 the pink one. My Boost I got the JLO Moisturizer. Haven’t used it yet. It looks old. No safety seal lid??? I didn’t have yr choice in boost or the ND Palette from last month or I would have chosen that for sure. It was all skincare. So I’m skipping August Boxycharm n just getting August GB. Unless, I get really bad FOMO. Lol 😂. I’m not excited about the spoilers the VV Eyeshadow Palette or the Ciate London face palette who knows I probably wouldn’t even get them “as my power picks like in July’s box” & Elemis is the boost item another skincare item. I just can’t. I have tons n tons of skincare. I’m like u Katrina I barely do face masks or those masks like we got. I use to but not recently. I have the Yensa one open w/the Pumpkin & Tumeric n I bet it’s expired by now I used maybe 3 x’s. So I took off all masks on my beauty profile. N all skincare really. I want makeup lol 😂. Yr boxes r really equal for July. I felt same way high value great brands but nothing really exciting. Ty for sharing guys! Always exciting to watch the both of u. ❤❤
You can change your boost. I was given the first aid beauty product I touched the screen and cancelled it and chose jlo moisturizer

I got the same power picks as your sister even tho i have makeup only pixked. I got 2 makeup only so 4 skincare and a lipbalm onĺy makeup i got :(
This month was a total disappoint! My box was all skincare except for the broken ND pallet! The boost products were crap. I hope the choices for August are better but from what I have seen so far it isn’t looking good.

I had no makeup choices for my July boost products. June was amazing, July was too skincare heavy and August looks the same for both Boxy and Icon boxes. No good makeup!

Try putting on clay mask before a shower. Rinse and maybe you will use more. ❌️⭕️
