I’ve always found joy in appreciating little staycations within my home country of Uganda.
If there’s one thing Covid has taught every travel junkie, it’s to explore & appreciate more of our surroundings. I’m kicking off my staycation series with Latitude Zero degrees. Latitude hotels group is a unique African lifestyle hospitality brand. During my stay I show you what you can explore amidst this picturesque setting.

The lady on the portrait with Q. She is called Queen Anna Nzinga (1581-1663), one of the great women rulers of Afrika, of Angola. She fought against the slave trade and European influence in the seventeenth century. She is Known for being an astute diplomat and visionary military leader, she resisted Portuguese invasion and slave raids for 30 years.

Very beautiful place.we were there on our 1st Anniversary last month but one thing they should improve on is communication.we called in for details on a staycation but they kept declining our calls and when they answered,they told hubby we shall get back to u shortly.
We ended up going there for dinner yet our plan was to have a two days staycation there.
