No it is horrible. It is extremely unflattering for Trixie. It shows that Hungry is all about art while trixies is all about fame and money. It is like a Einstein and a monkey having a discussion on relativity.

As a german: Hungry is literally as Berlin as you can be - the normcore mascs cant even come close. Absolutely inspiring and just this Dark Techno Butterfly Moth emerging from all the black tracksuits and tanktops.
If that's true I need to find a way to move to Berlin, because I adore Hungry
@@jazwhoaskedforthis I would not MOVE to Berlin necessarily, its very overpriced and most of the city is not glamorous at all - more like eastern-european concrete architecture and poverty. But its great for a visit ! A lot of history, diversity, fashion and art. I consider someone like Hungry "quintessential Berlin" cuz they found their niché and art...and are absolutely unapologetic about it, just weird and eccentric, but in that berlin-signature "laid back, not doing the most-way". The "normcore" Berlin Hipster understands the laid back, calm collected vibe - but fail to deliver on artistry and individuality. They all have a similar style (look up "Berlin Techno/Rave Fashion" or something) and therefor are comforming again and expose themselves as actually caring A LOT about what others think. They all copy each other. Thats the difference for me.

Trixie is an incredible host. She is so tactful about bringing up genuine topics while still keeping it fun and you can tell she really cares about what Hungry has to say. You would think they’ve been friends their whole lives from the comfort level she seems to provide.
I’ve been thinking this. I always leave with a positive opinion of everyone who she collabs with. She makes literally everyone interesting. I’d watch her talk show.

When Hungry did Björk’s Vulva makeup, girl…. It was such a peak of art form and creativity, it was flawless!!! Hungry is such an amazing artist, when I saw her as a judge on Drag Race Thailand, my heart stopped, it would be such a honor meeting her in person!
I’m glad that Trixie acknowledged Hungry as a living being, finally.

She inspired me to push my artwork a lot. I cant wear tons of make up do to having lupus and allergies but I make art with crazy make up now cause I realized I could express my desire that way. Hungry is magical

I met Hungry on a subway in Berlin about 7-8 years ago. I was nervous to say hi but I had to do it. I was like "Hi...I think I follow you on Instagram." she said "What's my name?" and I said "Hungry!" and she smiled and we chatted for a few minutes. It was so cute.
Hungry and Juno are quite literally two aliens from different galaxies and I really want to see the two of them together in some way.

Hungry and Trixie here look like they met in a galactic pub on the verge of a black hole where Trixie is doing the sexy entertainer/bimbo bartender and Hungry is the punk rock hardcore hero on a quest to save her world and they bond and they form an alliance and I just created another comic in my head I really want to read but doesn't exist

hungry’s process was so mesmerising to watch. one of the most delicate makeup hands i’ve seen for such high contrast makeup. absolutely stunning.
People love Bjork because she has a childlike inner light, but an intellect to back it up.
It’s refreshing to hear someone talk about how kinda judgmental the scene in Berlin can be. It’s famous for being so open and artsy and underground but the minute you want to actually do anything different or call attention to yourself, suddenly you’re not cool anymore.
This very much depends from my experience. In the Techno scene I feel art & fashion is more open minded & you are not seen as cool but as expressing yourself. Especially if you are different & experimental.
That’s any scene in any major city.

@@SaraxAdam no it’s not. Not even close!! Every major city has a different vibe. Berlin is definitely one of the most interesting and colorful scenes, the people are very creative there

I know. My love was half Thai, German and French. He really favored Hungry. His name was John. I teared up when she said she is Johannes. I am so reminded of my John. He was so avant garde and beautifully creative. I feel like he lives on through Hungry somehow. It is comforting.

I can never get enough of Hungry's art. She's so incredible. Also, yes, I was one of the people who thought Hungry looked like Björk lmao. It was back when Utopia just came out when I saw Hungry on Soju's channel and I after I made the comment, I started piecing it together and I was like, "Wait a minute... *gasp*!" I have been following her since. But, now I know she has a Twitch... 🙌🏻

Just another piece of proof that you can't judge a picture by its cover. Trixie looks to me like she would just love to come in for a great big squeeze and she openly admits that hugging is not her thing. Where Hungry looks to be a little standoffish and that's not the case at all. Thanks for sharing Kev. I think it's really important to share positive experiences with icons in the community.

I'm not a makeup person, I personally don't even wear the stuff. But I have followed Hungry and James and Ryan Burke for years and years because I'm a designer. Art is art and these homies are some of the best in the world at what they do. A passion isn't just something you do it's part of who you are

Violet Chachki's origin story is pretty much my same reason for starting drag. I saw that first Double Elimination episode of Drag Race when Vivienne Pinay and Honey Mahogany lip-synched to "Oops I Did It Again" and thought to myself I could perform that song way better. So I did.

Oh I just immediately pictured violet sitting there, full face and corseted, just No-ing anything and everything Trixie does while checking herself out in the monitors and I fully got my whole life together in that moment.
